“room was exactly as pictured. Room was quite cold until a couple hours in until the small space heater started to make a change. Hard to navigate where the unit is in the winter since it is dark by 5pm. Needs a more descriptive check in instructions for the sake of checking in when it is night time. Friendly farm cats that greeted me upon arrival. peaceful in the daytime.”

“The property is lovely. I didn’t have my dog, but Lynne let me know that it is pet friendly large outdoor space with a wonderful view. Lots of special touches. Lynn works really hard to make it welcoming. That includes, lavender gifts and homemade scones. It was really a wonderful stay. I loved the pig that was there to visit with.”

“Shops and restaurants in walking distance and the beach also. I would love a view but it was quiet for us, not alot of street noise or neighbors. My only suggestion is to have an extra blanket in the closet. Heater is in the bedroom and works great but sitting area/kitchen gets quite cold in am. If you want to be in sitting area so partner can sleep, its cold. Enjoyed the stay, thank you”

“Overall the room was okay. Things would be a lot better if the host would answer her phone or call us back. I tried 3 different times to contact her, and could not. The bed is missing the center support, and sleep has been challenging, the bed feels broken. The fireplace. If it wasn’t for the fact that you could feel the heat coming from it, you wouldn’t know that it was on. Not very romantic. I am very disappointed in the host…”

“Discrepancies between listing on VRBO and actual accommodations: refrigerator and microwave were in a common area, NOT in the room, as listed. It was difficult to find the switch for the gas fireplace which was the only heat in the room and it was very cold, window open, when we arrived late in the evening (host was notified of late arrival.) The phones in the room did not work to call the front desk; I had to use my cell phone to reach them. Also, bed was hard; I realize this is a matter of...
