“Beautiful place!….quiet, boutique hotel- spotless, new rooms, very comfy bed, welcoming staff, amazing food (breakfast and dinner)- would recommend to anyone coming to the area. You can avoid the crowds in manuel Antonio and stay here and take the $1 bus to manuel Antonio beaches (or taxi $10)”

“What an amazing vacation we had. After 5 days most of the staff had become good friends. It was sad to say goodbye to them. The location is stunning too with 180 degree views of 2 beaches. Outside our room we had a monkey highway as each morning 10 monkeys would walk across the vines outside our room. The wildlife are real happy there as we saw sloths, friendly lizards and lots of monkeys. And last but not least, the food was amazing at both restaurants. We cant wait to return!”

“We arrived to the hotel after dark, it was a little confusing finding it (wish there were a few more signs), but once we found it, we were very pleased! Staff was very friendly, room was super cute and very clean! The views were absolutely amazing!! We had the free breakfast and it was great. (There was coffee, juice, toast, eggs, plantains, sausage, cereal and fresh fruit) from what I remember…This was our 1st trip to Costa Rica, and we have already booked again to come back. We will be staying...

“Our stay at Shana by the Beach was wonderful! The employees were so kind and helpful. We enjoyed watching the monkeys every day. We walked down to the beach and had a great time. The walk back up wasn’t as great but we have more muscular legs from doing it! ”
