“Easy and cheerful checkin. The room and breakfast areas were very clean. I did not use the pool, but it look to be just as clean, and there were a couple families enjoying it! I would not only recommend it, I would stay here again!”

I was informed there was a water leak, so no other accessible room was available but would be “put in one just like it without the grab bars”. “This historic home is beautiful with great updates. Kathleen was an excellent host! Check-in was fast and easy, and the house was clean and exactly as described. Eight of us stayed here to go to Bucci's Italian Scratch Kitchen “Brunch Please!” and we also visited the Shovel City Drinkery. This house was a perfect getaway and would definitely stay again. ”

“The people that worked there were very good to us. I feel the owner or the management of that hotel. I’d be ashamed of yourself leaving one person behind the desk 65 rooms to take care of they can’t do it. It’s very hard and they tried they did their best. That’s why I gave it a three not because of the people it’s because of the Owner and management of that hotel ought to be ashamed of themselves. They need to pay those people double pay that’s my personal opinion. Thank you.”

“I booked a room with 2 doubles beds and was given a room with 1 double and sofa; I asked the front desk to correct the mistake but was told they were booked. The hallway in which our room was in smelled like cat urine while the other hallways smelt like smoke even though it was a non smoking hotel. Would not return or recommend.”
