“The staff was nice but the room needs an upgrade. The tube was rusted, there were tiny holes in the curtain and there were missing lamp shades. There are no rugs on the floor so every time someone walks at night you can hear it. The outlet in the bathroom looks like it was coming off the wall and there was a hair dryer plugged in. “We had a wonderful stay at Chincoteague Inn over the weekend. The room was clean and well maintained, and the staff were all very friendly and welcoming. We had a comfortable stay without any issues. The complimentary coffee in the morning was also surprisingly good. One unexpected bonus was the location. My main safety concerns are the motel's 'self check-in' system, which leaves physical keys in an unsecured box for anyone to access, and the lack of a door latch or chain for added security.
