“A lovely cottage perfect for what we needed”

“We had a wonderful stay at this lovely cottage. Everything was spotless and beautifully presented, and the heating was already on when we arrived which made it feel instantly welcoming. The host communicated brilliantly throughout and made everything very easy. The cottage had every amenity you could need, with thoughtful touches like coffee, tea, biscuits, milk, and even board games. The location was perfect as well, right next to the pub. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!”

“The property location was perfect, and beautiful. Lovely local pub to walk to. The house was nicely decorated and had a homely feel. However the smell of damp dog was overwhelming, which didn’t suit us! Additionally the bedding smelt damp, and the towels of stale smoke. So it was necessary for me to do a couple of loads of washing during our stay. ”

“Excellent small cottage with well equipped kitchen. Comfortable and roomy bedroom. Walk in shower was nice to use. Door from lounge/kitchen out to small garden that was nice to sit out in the evening. Friendly owner gave us a warm welcome. Good place to explore Cheshire - we visited Nantwich, Chester, Salt museum at Northwich and the Anderton boat lift. Also visited the Moorcroft Pottery in Stoke.”

“We would definalty recommend elsies cottage we had a lovely Xmas break with my family Jane and Rob made sure we had a lovely time and so helpful and we arrived to a lovely welcome basket aswell as fresh bread and a lovely fresh cake 🎂 eggs milk everything you would need. Beautiful setting the cottage was stunning and so clean and inviting. We were a family of 5 adults and a dog plenty of room didn't feel cramped... xx”
