“This is a basic, no-frills old property that has aged well. The rooms are plain, and nothing but coffee in the office for breakfast. I am a traveler who looks for a clean place to sleep and shower; the frills don't matter. This fits the bill for someone who would rather spend their money on other things than frills in a room they will sleep in and be gone from in 12 hours. In cities, cheap hotels attract an element to stay away from, but that type is not touring the back roads of West Virginia.”

“Great place for kids downstairs, grown ups up top. Hot tub was spotless and clear. Interior appliances, furniture and other stuff was all really new and clean. Host communicated info in advance and was responsive to questions. ”
