Blue Harbor View was the most well appointed and thoughtfully set up vacation rental we've ever stayed at, and we've stayed at a good number! Host Susan had thought of everything we might possibly want: excellent coffee, oil and vinegar, a myriad of spices, throw pillows to make yourself comfortable, a real bathtub to take a soak in. She seems to know where you might want to sit to take your shoes off, or where you'd want a hook to hang your clothes, or a socket to charge your phone.I was most impressed by the booklet with clear instructions provided for guests, professionally designed and printed on glossy paper. There were not only the usual check out instructions, rather, everything a guest might possibly need to know was explained: How to run the coffee machine or the coffee grinder, where to put the trash, how to adjust the thermostat. It even tells you the history of the bungalow, which I particularly loved to learn about!Blue Harbor View was spic and span, with ample supplies of everything, from toilet paper to dish soap to trash bags. Furnishings and appliances are high quality. No run-of-the-mill dinky IKEA stuff, no loud dishwasher, no worse-for-the-wear coffeemaker, no bent forks or sticky scissors. The decor is cheery and tadteful, the couch excellent to take a nap on, the generously large windows towards the Harbor indeed give you a sweeping view of Lake Superior. All rooms are well proportioned and the beds are comfortable. Truly, top notch and affordable!
