Bizarre mix up with the booking. After waiting for a while for the room to be ready we were shown a room with no bed set up for our 16 year old child. No mention of this at all until I had to ask (surely they would have seen 3 people and one bed and though to say something!). The response was a surly ‘the booking was for 2 people’ and ‘you’ll have to pay for another room’. I was not happy! I checked and confirmed the booking was for 3 people but this still
made no difference. Eventually the manger was called and to his credit a room next door was provided and the problem solved. In truth. It ruined our stay however! It’s a beautiful place, very quiet and peaceful but the checking in issues left a sour taste sadly. It felt like we were being ripped off and forced to buy a second room but perhaps it was a bizarre mix up and just handled badly? Who knows.
