Great little place, but keep in mind that there are lots and lots of stairs and that the front door is very awkwardly placed so you have to take a big step up to go in the front door, but it is only about 3/4 the size of a regular front door. On your way out you have to make sure to bend it down and then take a big step down so you don’t hit your head.

Let's start with check in. We arrived at 8:30pm in the rain after a 2 hour drive from the Kansas City Airport. We were meant to merely climb the stairs to the apartment where the key would be in an unlocked lock box. NO KEY. We thoroughly searched everywhere thinking it must have fallen out. No luck We texted the owner through the VRBO app- No answer. We had to drive around town trying to find availability for three of us. We finally found two rooms in a run down motel. The next day the owner said he would send his property manager to get us a key. Finally late afternoon the house cleaner for the lower apartment let us in.I'm not even going to go into all the deficiencies that came up during our stay. Trying to get a proper refund was another long term saga. We asked for a refund for the first night that we could not get into the apartment and the two rooms at the motel that we had to rent to spend that first night. The owner put us off saying that VRBO would take care of everything. After many emails, texts and phone calls with the owner and VRBO we were refunded one nights stay, but not the hotel costs.Marshall is a wonderful, inviting, Midwestern town. Please visit but don't stay here.

Great appartement

The appartement, even as the host, is great with all the necessary utilities. When you visit Marshall this is the place to be!
