Home built in 1930 that offers an oasis backyard for entertaining up to 20 for dinner….one table seats 14, one seats 8. Outdoor kitchen and a fire pit to relax in evenings. The hot tub comfortably seats 8 and as much as 12 guests. There are two kitchens inside for entertaining a large number of guests for company parties and even bridal or baby showers. We’ve had company Christmas parties with as many as 40 guests but there is a per guest charge for gatgerings more than 10. The house sleeps 10 in bedrooms and 4 more in a previous media room basement that dubs as a 5th bedroom. THIS PROPERTY IS FOR PRIVATE PARTIES and GATHERINGS ONLY AND NOT TO BE ADVERTISED ON FACEBOOK OR OTHER PUBLIC PLATFORMS. Loud noise and parties should wind down outside BY 10pm BY City Ordinance.

Business trip
Property was very conveniently located to the court house. Excellent property, beautiful outside, extraordinary communication with host. Only note I would make is that the 5th bedroom is not ideal for adults but would make a fabulous "kids bunker" for a large group. Overall excellent and we will for sure stay at the property again!

Unique house great for family gathering
Shawn was amazing with communication and helpfulness. We stayed for my son’s wedding weekend. There were plenty of beds and space to hang out. The groomsmen came over the night before the wedding and enjoyed the large hot tub. We had both families over for dinner one night with plenty of room. The uniqueness makes you wonder more about the history of the place. It was great for us. It was exceptionally clean, but it wasn’t dirty. Maybe just cluttered in some ways. But again, Shawn was great to help us out.

Beautifully updated historic home and great patio/pool
Booked this home in Marshall during a visit to the area vs hotel. Shaun (host) was great and very responsive. The home was very clean. Beautifully updated historic feeling home. Fantastic outdoor patio and pool/spa. Will definitely stay here again on any visits to Longview/Marshall area.

Girls Weekend
Our stay was so much fun! Shaun was the best host and everything at the house is so nice. There were 11 of us and we had plenty of room. The pool and deck are amazing. We all highly recommend staying at the Oasis Retreat Near Downtown!!

We do a yearly trip in July to spend time as family. I booked Oasis Retreat after looking on VRBO the home met all needs. The home was very comfortable the design gave everyone their own space. We truly enjoyed everything about our time there. Well stay again!! Thanks Diane

The perfect getaway
The house is quite large but very cozy. The kids enjoyed exploring all the nooks and unique features the house had to offer. Everything was neat and tidy and the house had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. The backyard and pool area is spacious and perfect for spending the day relaxing, grilling and soaking. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a summer oasis in a beautiful quiet neighborhood.

Highly recommend
The home was absolutely beautiful. So much space in a quiet neighborhood. The back patio and pool was our favorite place to be. I really felt at home during our stay. The host Shaun made communication easy and really cared to make sure we had a great time.
