Lakewood Lodge — Vermont Lakefront Retreat Guests Call “An Absolute Dream”
Welcome to Lakewood Lodge, your private, four-season Vermont getaway on the clear, spring-fed waters of Woodbury Lake (Sabin Pond). This is more than a rental; it’s a lovingly cared-for lodge where guests arrive and instantly relax. Over and over, visitors call it “immaculate,” “a dream,” and “the perfect place to disconnect.”
Our guest book brims with stories of slow mornings on the porch, afternoons of paddling and hiking, evenings soaking under the stars, and cozy nights by the fire. We’ve built Lakewood Lodge to make that experience effortless for you.
A Warm, Thoughtful Welcome
From the moment you park in the driveway, stone steps lead you to the porch and hot tub. Inside, the lodge greets you with a warm, organized interior — radiant floors underfoot, a propane “wood” stove for ambiance, and even peaceful music playing at check-in. Our on-site manager Maggie lives next door and is there to answer questions or offer local tips, while Susan and Mark (your hosts) provide clear instructions and easy communication.
“We enjoyed the lakeside lodge from the moment we turned the door handle and walked inside… peaceful music playing when we checked in… The mornings enjoying coffee on the porch and the evenings spent just relaxing and soaking in the views of the lake were so relaxing and peaceful.” — guest review
Inside the Lodge
Lakewood Lodge blends rustic charm with modern comfort. Reviewers rave about how “beautiful, clean, and full of great amenities” it is. The kitchen is a highlight — fully stocked for cooking and baking, with both Keurig and drip coffee makers, sharp knives, a grill outside, and plenty of seating for family meals. We’ve labeled cabinets and stocked extras so you can cook without hunting for utensils.
The living area features smart TVs, puzzles, and games for all ages. Red towels are set aside for the hot tub and white towels for bathrooms. Extra blankets live in the coffee table for snuggling up. Washer and dryer are on site for longer stays. Bedrooms are cozy and kid-friendly, and the whole space is bright and uncluttered.
