Relax with the whole family at The Salt Marsh. FULLY RENOVATED as of 2022. Located a short walk (0.3 miles) from Sunrise Beach, restaurants, shopping and parks. Enjoy the views of the Bass River and Marsh from the sun room. 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms. One level living, spacious open-concept floor plan. House is on stilts, so climbing of stairs is required to enter/exit.

Clean and updated summer stay

My family of 5 stayed here for a few nights while our floors were being refinished and I can't say enough great things about this house. It was beautifully appointed with lovely touches throughout. The house was very well stocked with everything a family of 5 could need while juggling a busy week. The owners were pleasant to communicate with and very helpful. It was near the beach and set at the end of a lovely, quiet neighborhood. I would recommend this house.

Awesome stay!

Extremely clean, awesome location, beautifully remodeled. Great for families as there are a ton of great toys and books for the kids. Located in a very nice town. No complaints whatsoever.

A wonderful family vacation!

My family of 4 including (a 4 year old and 7 year old) and 2 grandparents stayed at the Salt Marsh this year. It was our first stay and it was truly beautiful. The house is so clean, spacious and decorated nicely. We loved the openness of the floor plan, the bunk beds in the "kids room" and the laundry room on site. Kate was communicative and helpful when needed. We are so pleased with the house and enjoyed making many new summer vacation memories there.

Beach vacation

The Salt Marsh is just as pictured and described—an attractive, updated and well equipped cottage in a quiet family neighborhood,in walking distance to the beach. A problem with the keypad entry was quickly resolved; communication with the host was very easy. The kids enjoyed finding books and toys in the bunk room. Close to a variety of restaurants, be sure to check out Mae’s for great sandwiches and Haddad’s for your clam chowder!

The Salt Marsh felt like home. Clean, spacious, had all the amenities my family needed. Great location. Enjoyed the beach every day. Host was readily available when we needed to communicate with her. Thanks for a lovely place to stay.

Home Away From Home

Are you dreaming of going away to a beautiful vacation home just a short walk from the beach to a place that truly feels like home? Then, look no farther than The Salt Marsh. My family (my husband and I, our three kids ages 3-11, and my parents) just recently visited for the first time, and we were all truly sad to have to leave at the end of the week. It was absolutely perfect! From even before we rented this listing, Kate was extremely responsive and quick to reply to the smallest questions. The house had everything we needed, from a wagon to pull beach toys as well as my tired three year old, to basic household supplies, to kids’ toys in the bunk bed room, this home has it all! My only hesitation to leaving a five star review is that this house will be unavailable when we want to book it again!

Great house for families!

Our son, daughter in law, and six grandkids, ages 1-15 stayed here for a week. They LOVED it. The Weber grill worked great. The house was very clean, organized, comfortable, updated, and well stocked with towels, linens, soaps, and toys. It had a very efficient layout. They walked to the beach 3 days and used the beach wagon you supplied. Thank you!

Beautiful Sunsets!

The Salt Marsh was the perfect location for our family. Close to restaurants and beaches, yet privately located on a peaceful marshview lane. The house itself was immaculate, and provided everything we needed to enjoy our stay- even beach towels and sand toys! Kate was a fantastic host and we hope to stay again next summer!
