Situata all'interno della splendida regione della Charente e vicino alla Dordogna, questa bella e semplice casa è situata nel parco dei proprietari, ma ha l'uso esclusivo di una piscina e di un giardino completamente recintato. La casa in pietra accuratamente restaurata si mantiene fresca nei mesi più caldi, con un bel cortile e barbecue - perfetto per mangiare all'aperto. Ha un grande soggiorno / sala da pranzo a pianta aperta con una cucina ad angolo ben attrezzata, stufa a legna e travi a vista. C'è una camera da letto matrimoniale; una camera doppia, un bagno e WC separato. C'è anche un soppalco sul soggiorno con travi a vista e letti aggiuntivi. Altre caratteristiche includono: piscina privata (9m x 4m, profondità 0. 8m a 1. 8m); Riscaldamento centralizzato (al costo); Woodburner (legno al costo); W / macchina; D / lavatrice; M / onda; F / congelatore; Culla; TV satellitare (canali inglesi); Lettore DVD; Raccolta di libri; Sicuro; Sedie a sdraio; Arredamento da giardino; Barbecue da incasso coperto; Tutta la biancheria inclusa; parcheggio nel cortile privato. Parfait

J'ai réservé ce cottage pour mon fils et ses 3 amis. Pat et Adrian ont été très réactifs pour répondre aux x questions que je leur ai posées avant le séjour. Les 4 garçons ont été accueillis très chaleureusement. Ils ont adoré le cottage et les divers aménagements dont la superbe piscine chauffée. Tout s'est très bien déroulé. Je recommande donc, de la part de mon fils, cette superbe location pour un séjour tranquille dans la campagne charentaise :+)

Superb

Absolutely fantastic property - very peaceful & quiet and wonderful owners. Our little girl fell ill on the way to France and Adrian went with us to A&E and to see local GP (both during the weekend). Honestly, the owners couldn't be more helpful. Both Adrian & Pat are the loveliest people you'll ever meet. Thank you so much both for everything, we are forever grateful to you and we hope to come back again next year. Thank you for the memories. Much love x

What a fabulous place. I completely understand why previous visitors have returned to this property multiple times. Pat and Adrian were extremely welcoming but in no way invasive during our stay. They gave us lots of ideas of things to do during our stay. There are plenty of restaurants a short drive away in Montbron, Angouleme and Piegut. A particular favourite of ours was Aux Caprices, opposite the Intermarche in Montbron. There are great swimming lakes close by eg Lac de St Estephe. The road cycling here is fabulous with a voie verte very close to the house. The memorial in Aradour is well worth a visit. The weather was fabulous ranging between 27 - 33oC with a bit of a breeze. I cannot recommend this place enough if you are looking for a peaceful place to holiday but with lots to do close by, only a short car journey away. Pat and Adrian are fabulous.

Great week in the Charente

We stayed for a week, 7 of us staying in the gite including 3 kids. It's a charming property adorned with flowers and beautifully presented - the pictures don't quite do it justice in fact! Lots of space around the grounds, and impeccably clean throughout. Lots of nice touches around the accommodation and very complete. Pat and Adrian were there to welcome us and on hand in case any questions came up. They are a class act and a big part of the amazing week we had in the Charente. Would definitely recommend this place.

Très belle location au calme

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine en famille dans cette belle location au calme. Il y avait tout dans la maison(cuisine très bien équipé...) La piscine chauffée super pour passer de bon moment a bronzer. Des hôtes très gentils mais dommage qu'on ne parlait pas anglais pour faciliter la communication. Je conseil cette location.

Relaxing stay in an idyllic rural setting

This is the first time we have stayed at the same property twice, which says it all really! Lovely little gîte in such a gorgeous setting - so quiet and peaceful - beautiful views out over the fields. The only other property in sight is the owner's. Pool is fantastic, and very safe with the fence. Cottage has everything you need. Owners are great - friendly and helpful whenever you need anything, but not at all intrusive. There is plenty to do - some great, safe cycle rides on the nearby voie vert route, some caves to visit, a great market at Piegut, nearby chateaux etc. Montbron is nearby and has great supermarche and some nice little restraunts. We enjoyed our second visit even more than our first one!

Another amazing stay at this beautiful place

This was our second time here, I’ve never ever stayed at the same place more than once and always have tried somewhere new but this place is just perfect and ticks all our boxes. There is everything you could possibly need here, any utensil you name it it’s here! Pat and Adrian are the perfect hosts and help with anything you need. Can’t wait to come back again

A recommander

Accueil très chaleureux par Adrian et Pat très discrets et gentils pendant tout notre séjour L'environnement est top (entouré de champs, forêt) donc super calme Le bien est tout aussi confortable et hyper équipé en matériels de cuisine 2 barbecues (un au gaz et un au charbon de bois) Un espace extérieur très large et la piscine sécurisée. Nous avons occupé à la fois la maison et le studio. Côté sympathique le poulailler et une cane que nous nourrissions tous les jours de nos épluchures de légumes 🤣🤣🤣 un plaisir ! Nous gardons donc un très bon souvenir de notre séjour. PS : partant chaque année au mois d'août avec Abritel dans des locations de ce style c'est la 1ere fois que je vois à notre disposition à notre arrivée autant de fournitures de papier toilettes, du Sopalin et une batterie de cuisine aussi fournie) Merci encore à Adrian et à Pat pour se séjour. Je recommande vivement ce bien.

Jolie maison en pleine campagne

Logement très bien équipé, conforme à la description. Patricia et Adrian sont des hôtes discrets mais très attentionnés. Le lieu est paisible, la piscine très belle. Dommage que la météo maussade nous ait empêché d'en profiter pleinement :( Je recommande vivement ce logement !

Très belle maison typique charentaise avec jardin et piscine privée et sécurisée. Tout est propre. La maison est parfaitement équipée. Nous n'avons manqué de rien. nice stay

Beautiful cottage and quiet location, where really everything is present as at home. The owners are friendly and very helpful, yet discreet. Who wants a carefree vacation and wants to relax is definitely in the right place. Despite the bad weather during our vacation we were still able to enjoy the heated pool. Definitely a must.

Envie de se mettre au vert..

Bel endroit très calme. Maison, piscine et jardin exactement comme sur les photos. Les propriétaires étant les seuls voisins, ils restent très disponible. Les commerces sont à 5 min en voiture mais peu ouvert. Nous étions 4 adultes et 3 enfants de 2 à 4 ans, pas de jeux à proximité pour les enfants en bas âge .... Tout était bien sauf la literie à changer peut-être...

Excellent séjour à la Borderie

Nous sommes venus entre amis pour une semaine, le séjour a été parfait. La maison est bien équipée (cuisine et ustensiles, mobilier d'extérieur, transat, barbecue..), la piscine chauffée est très agréable, et la grande terrasse couverte proche cuisine est très pratique ! Les propriétaires sont à côté de la maison mais très discrets, tout en étant à l'écoute et disponibles si nécessaire. Merci pour ce séjour, et aux suivants : allez-y les yeux fermés !

Just got back to the UK after a perfect week at this property!

Pat and Adrian were the perfect hosts, they provided us with everything we needed for a well deserved break! It was nice knowing that Pat was there when we needed her especially given the COVID situation We have never been back to the same place more than once but are alreadt looking at dates for next year!

Beautiful rural get-away

We had an absolutely wonderful relaxing stay here. Set in the countryside, this cottage is so quiet and peaceful, but there are lots of nice things to do nearby if you want to. First the basics - kitchen was incredibly well equipped with everything you could possible want. Beds were comfy, and the rooms were nice and cool even in 33-34C° heat. Although the owners live next door, it is really private and secluded. Pat and Adrian were very welcoming on arrival, and were very helpful whenever we had queries. The pool was an absolute luxury - very safe, as completely enclosed. We could let the kids play in the garden on their own without any worry. If you get bored of lazing round the pool, there are great bike routes nearby and lovely walks. Also kayaking and tree climbing. There is a big inter marche about 10 mins drive away in montbron - and also some nice restaurants. Altogether an absolutely lovely get-away!

Just wonderful. Tranquil, great pool beautiful views fantastic hosts

We had such a lovely two weeks. Beautiful setting, very peaceful but amenities not too far away; we had great weather and the pool was a wonderful bonus. I also loved all the different seating areas and privacy. Pat and Adrian are just so lovely, nothing was too much trouble. We felt so well looked after and cared for. Thank you so much. Would highly recommend.

A quiet place of serenity
