“Although basic and rustic, the room was very clean with comfortable beds and bedding. The kitchen had everything you need: fridge, microwave, kettle, sink, dishes and cutlery, and the bathroom was spacious with good water pressure and hot water. Communications with the property owner were quick, responsive, and helpful. This is also an excellent location on the island. Loved Naoshima, loved our two nights at Quaint House! Highly recommend.”

“It was a steep hill to climb with luggage. Taxi's were not available even though the website said you can take a taxi. The Hotel has many levels and no elevator. Given that we were fit we managed to drag our suitcases up the hill. Not very accessible for people with disabilities. We enjoyed our stay the room was minimally appointed. The aesthetics were simple & clean.”

“This was one my favourite places I stayed in Japan. Great location close to the train station, buses and the ferry port. All staff members were lovely and helped me plan my trip to Naoshima and Teshima islands as well as recommended places to eat in Tamano.
