“Nestled in the hills surrounded by lush greenery, the Alver Hotel was our base for kayaking in the spectacular fjords. We stayed in an updated cabin that was well equipped with the basic necessities, including an in unit washer and dryer. Our stay includes a delicious breakfast buffet each morning. If possible I would give a sixth star for the friendly staff who went the extra mile to make our stay pleasant and memorable.”

“The bed was huge, a little too big for the size of the room but the room was clean. The room was cute, kind of the old village style atmosphere. The view of the lake was beautiful and the complimentary breakfasts were "delightful"! Ginger shots, caviar, and fresh fruit smoothies daily. It's about 40 miles from the city which is a challenge for taxi service but the staff was extremely friendly. I enjoyed my stay.”

“Alles was aanwezig. Erg vriendelijke gastvrouw. De kleine puntjes van afwerking moeten nog. Doucheputjes zaten vol en liepen niet door, deze dus zelf ontdaan van maanden vuil. De afzuigkap was / is vies en vet. Deze beide punten vragen echt meer aandacht. Prijs kwaliteit erg aan de prijs als je met meerdere mensen komt bijna 1000,- per nacht.”
