“We stayed during the Labor Day weekend. The property is amazing. If you are looking for peace , quiet and nature, then this is the place. Be prepared to drive a little for food. Night sky was amazing. Got to see game mornings and evenings. Lot of hummingbirds. Few improvements which would enhance the property- Bed was comfortable but was squeaking a lot. Would be good to increase the height of the shower. Users over 5.8” need to bend to shower. Would be good to have a EV charger. ”

“We loved the scenic (but short!) drive to the cabin. It was so nice to get away from everything and just enjoy the peace and nature. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. The hot tub was amazing, and I was in love with the deep tub in the bathroom. It is a beautifully rustic cabin. “Comfy, relaxing and close enough but also far away enough from downtown Fredericksburg:) I did miss using the outdoor shower but maybe next time ;) If it wasn’t July we would have enjoyed the hot tub as the backyard is inviting and private. Checking in was easy and the Wi-Fi access was great. Sometimes you have to work a little while on a short getaway. ”

“We had a wonderful stay. It's the cutest and coziest little cabin in a country setting, but not far from town. We enjoyed sipping coffee on the porch while watching the wildlife and appreciating the serenity. The only things we felt were missing were wine glasses and a wine opener, but that didn't take away from our stay. We hope to be back! ”
