Unwind at this newly renovated late 19th-century home, in our family for nearly a century. Lovingly rebuilt with an open floor plan, it combines luxury with charm. Invite your family or friends, & have them stay at our home next door. Whether enjoying lake views or outdoor energy, you’ll leave relaxed & energized. The central location on N. Shore, just a block off the lake, is steps from City Beach & Park, the Surf Ballroom, & the best cafés, shops, & restaurants. Your perfect vacation awaits!

Our beautiful open floor plan creates an ideal gathering place for friends and family. Whether your relaxing by the fireplace or perched at the kitchen island, there is a place for everyone. Need some time away from the group? The second level offers 3 private bedrooms each equipped with a 32" TV. Starting off your day? Delight with a long shower in our high design full shower with bench. Take your time getting ready while enjoying our lake views. Bringing young children?
After a day at the lake, calm them with a bubble bath in our stylish main floor bath. This is the perfect space for travelers of all ages. There are many reasons why this house is unique, but one of them has to do with we own the house right next-door! So if you’re coming with friends and family and you want to spread out a little bit, you can check out our place right next-door. The next door property ID number is 4489491. PETS: You may have seen that from time to time we accept small pets. There is a pet fee associated with that. When booking the home, please enter in that you are bringing a pet and the price will populate.

The house was very clean and having 2 full bathrooms was a definite plus. The kitchen set-up is not ideal. I wish the listing has highlighted that there is no dishwasher and really no kitchen table (the bar is the only table). It was hard to tell that from the pictures. It was very cold when we were there and the downstairs was extremely cold and the upstairs was extremely hot. The bed in the primary bedroom upstairs was very uncomfortable. We probably wouldn't stay again just based on the kitchen set-up. It would be a great house for people who didn't care about the kitchen or didn't plan to cook much. Bathrooms and overall house were very clean and we appreciated our stay from that standpoint.

This home was amazing and in the best location for walking to the Surf, downtown or to the lake. The home had all of the amenities and was very comfortable and cozy! June was an amazing host and we’ll definitely be back. Better than 5 Stars!

Convenient location

We had a group of friends going to the Surf for a fun night out. This place had plenty of room for all 3 couples and so convenient to walk to so many downtown locations. The communication with owners was so smooth and easy. You would definitely enjoy this home !

Ideal Vacation Spot!

We had the best girls weekend getaway! The location can't be beat - just a block walk to the lake front and a two block walk downtown and to City Beach. The kitchen and patio were awesome and having two bathrooms and cozy, comfy rooms was perfect. We all want to come back again!

Great Lake House!!

This is a beautiful home and a great location! Just a few minutes walk to the lake, park, restaurants, brewery, stores and The Surf. It was very clean and had everything we needed. Loved the extra touches such as shampoo, conditioner, soap, lotion, coffee, etc. Beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We had a great week vacation at the lake and would definitely stay here again!

Fabulous house!

We were in town for a horse show in Mason City and always try to stay in Clear Lake - such a fun and cozy town! The house is beautiful and decorated so professionally. Everything that you need is there, and located in a great spot within walking distance to the lake, town and parks. We loved our stay and hope to be back again soon!

Super Cute and Cozy

We have a summer cabin in Clear Lake, but wanted to come up for the kite festival. We rented the Cozy Klinge cottage and it was delightful. The family had a great time and the house is super cute and cozy.

Lovely accommodations

This home offered provided a comfortable stay for our family group of three siblings and their partners. Additional sleeping space in the living room accommodated a niece and nephew, both young adults, who stayed with us one of the nights. The home is comfortably furnished and the kitchen well stocked for basic meal preparation. The hostess was responsive to any questions or concerns.

Perfect location

We had 6 women in our party for a weekend trip to enjoy the Harvest Festival. The house has everything you need & I appreciate the extras that some rentals do not provide. The kitchen was fully stocked with nice dishes & silverware and the bedrooms had adequate outlets, comfortable beds & mirrors (women will understand) the location is perfect for walking down town or to the beach. We will stay again.
