- Nearby Tansley village is nestled on the edge of the Peak District next to the market town of Matlock. Nearby Bakewell, Chatsworth House and Matlock Bath, all easily accessible by car. There are lovely country walks from the property, the ideal base for those who enjoy the outdoors and plenty of off-road cycling tracks for those who like exploring on two wheels. Matlock has a variety of shops, supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, pubs, weekly market and parks. Matlock Bath is a well-known resort on the River Derwent, visit popular Heights of Abraham cable cars, enjoy fish and chips, and numerous entertainments throughout the year. The Matlock Bath illuminations and firework display are especially popular in autumn bringing in the crowds and lighting up the sky.
Enter into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with spacious kitchen area offering a gas range oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave. The floor to ceiling windows offer outstanding views over the surrounding countryside and a wonderful backdrop to a special meal. Relax on the comfy sofas after dinner and put your feet up by the roaring wood-burner with your favourite film on the Smart TV. Heading upstairs the cottage offers two zip-and-link bedrooms (which can be made into twin upon request), each with wonderful countryside views and decorated with fresh fabrics and stylish furniture. The family bathroom caters for everyone offering a bath, enclosed shower, sink and WC.
Outside dine alfresco with outdoor seating overlooking the surrounding countryside and switch off from the daily grind. The cottage offers ample off road parking.
