“It’s a really cute place to stay. Beautiful views and garden with a lovely canal side walk nearby. Nicely designed inside and Steve, the owner, is incredibly friendly and helpful. Would have liked to have been able to stay longer.”

“The Snug was very comfortable and well equipped. It was also very clean. I could not work the shower but I did not contact the owner so I am sure it would have been sorted if I had. It was only three nights and there was a bath so I did not. It was well located, quite near to Matlock Bath. The bed was comfortable and it was well decorated throughout. ”

The decor and interiors really add to the atmosphere and make it feel like a home away from home. Family were lovely and helpful Perfectly placed for local area and lovely walks right on your doorstep. Recommend The Square and Compass at Darley Bridge if you need a dog friendly pub with great food.
