They seem to believe that its location between the city and the beach is an advantage. It is near nothing. I had to walk a minimum of 30 minutes to find a restaurant or a grocery store. As a result you have to drive to get anything.”

“Converted Villa with 4 rooms in Jaffna suburbs. Nicely converted with pool, garden and small dining area. Accommodation roomy but with no natural light. TV with several English language channels - news and other. Good air conditioning and kettle provided. Hosts are helpful and on hand, this is definitely more of a home stay than a hotel. “Good food and nice place ”

“A few km outside Jaffna. Friendly informative owner who we had informative conversations. The hotel offered Sri Lankan menu - which we didn’t use as we were out and about in Jaffna. A variety of people staying at hotel , both srilankans and Europeans. Rooms were spacious . Bathroom could have been better maintained , we were happy overall. Would recommend if you are looking for a convenient interesting place to stay. Thank you for an enjoyable stay. ”

The reception staff seems to ask me extra money for breakfast stating that there was extra person which I did not expect and since I have fully paid for everything 5 months before travel. I hope reception staff (male) be more customer focussed.”
