“Second year staying over, love the place, the crew and the service”

“I selected this hotel for a week’s stay in Melbourne, as it was highly rated. I was left disappointed and unsatisfied. To start off, when I called the hotel to ask if they offered early check-in, no one answered the phone for 10 minutes. After two more attempts, I finally got a response. I asked if they were busy, due to Independence Day weekend, but was met with a “Not especially,” from an employee. “L’hotel è pulito e le camere spaziose. La cosa peggiore è la colazione perché praticamente inesistente Si paga per un servizio che non viene dato in quanto l’unica cosa che mettono a disposizione è del caffè (neanche il latte) e delle barrette.evidente che se si viaggia con dei bambini non c’è modo di fargli mangiare nulla. Troverei molto più corretto che fosse indicato che la colazione non è disponibile ”

USB and accessory outlets broken / not functional. Ongoing painting / repairs / renovations on first floor. “While the staff was nice. We did have one too many issues. We were given the wrong room at check in and couldn't get into the room we paid for until 2 days later. Then our room was cleaned only once and that was after we talked to staff. While we understand that these hotels are designed to only be cleaned every other day, only clean it once in a 9 night stay is ridiculous.”
