  • Enjoy this picturesque and cozy cabin set on a 150-acre farm, truly idyllic in all four seasons. Sit on the porch and take in the beautiful views of rolling hills and catch a glimpse of the horses and cattle roaming the farm. The cabin includes one bedroom with a king bed and a spacious loft with four twin beds.
    The cabin feels secluded while still being in close proximity to local attractions. The cabin is less than five minutes to Chautauqua Institute and Chautauqua Lake, 25 minutes to Peek’n Peak Ski Resort and one hour to Holiday Valley Ski Resort. We are in easy driving distance to Erie, Pittsburgh, Buffalo, and Cleveland.

    This is a destination for all seasons. In the winter, enjoy the local ski resorts, ice-fishing on Chautauqua Lake, or stay cozy in the cabin which has a great sledding hill! Summer offers endless activities on Chautauqua Lake including boating, sailing, fishing, and several local beaches. Golf, tennis, shopping, restaurants, breweries, and wineries surround the area. The cabin includes a local guide to all our favorites! We look forward to hosting you and hope you enjoy your stay!

Chautauqua Cabin

We loved our stay! Awesome location for seeing everything the area has to offer. We had a small issue getting in the cabin but it was handled as quickly as possible. Cabin was spotless and the views are wonderful. Will stay again if in the area for sure.

Amazing set up and proprty

We stayed for new year's and had an amazing time. The cabin was super quaint and cozy but still fave us the ability to be close to local restaurants and breweries. Woukd highly recommend!

My wife and I had a wonderful time staying at this Cabin! The instant we walked in we were amazed at how warm and cozy it felt. We ere able to instantly relax and start enjoying our weekend. We will be back again!

Very well kept,

I rented the cabin for a wknd with some of my friends. It is a very nice cozy cabin. The owner is very nice and easy to deal with. Everything is exactly how the description say. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Quaint cabin in the country

The cabin was all we expected it to be and more. Tim was very welcoming and gave us a few tips on what to see and where to dine. Never grew tired of the peaceful setting and quiet evenings. The large kitchen had all the amenities of home. Will definitely go back, hopefully during the fall months.

Family time

We spent 3 nights at the cabin with our 2 boys. Everything was fantastic - the cabin was very well supplied, comfortable and well located. We enjoyed s'mores at the fire-pit and daily visits from the resident woodchucks in the field outside our door. We went horseback riding and visited the beach in Barcelona. The owner gave us our space but checked in with us to make sure we had what we needed. We would highly recommend this cabin and would definitely return.

Quiet, scenic, comfortable

We were met by Tim, who was preparing wood for us in case we wanted to have a campfire. He was very helpful with suggestions of what to see or do. The cabin is just like the photos. It has modern conveniences in a serene setting. It was clean and ready for our arrival. We saw at least 30 deer on the property. Our stay was everything we hoped for. Great help from Tim. Would definitely recommend it to others.

nice stay- large home stocked with plenty of towels and kitchen appliances- however the wifi did not work on our tablet - also too bad there wasn't a screen door. ( we had to keep the door closed when it got dark however it became too hot since we needed the air circulation- but couldn't leave the door open because of bugs flying in.)

Best Vacation Rental EVER!

We are a family of 4 and very active. I was a bit hesitant renting this "1 bedroom" cabin but I wanted something different for our annual Chautauqua visit. Needless to say, I was extremely impressed. First, the view is outstanding. Maybe one of the best when you can sit on the porch and view the rolling hills, farm and all that nature has to offer. Second, the cabin itself is VERY roomy and EASILY sleeps 6 people. Third, the cabin has everything from full size appliances to great seating areas and a nice big bathroom. Fourth, the cabin is CLEAN. I mean, it is immaculate. The floors, the carpeting, the counters and the bathroom -- very clean. The owners have a farm at the bottom of the hill and at the end of the walking path is a beautiful creek. We fed horses, picked wild flowers and skipped rocks. I love Chautauqua and look forward to this every year. This year, however, I found myself more-and-more just enjoying the cabin. It was an awesome vacation. My only regret is that I do not know the dates for next year's Chautauqua visit. If I did, I would have booked this property already!

Cute, comfortable cabin with great lofted sleeping area for the kids. A perfect cozy living space for a new years family getaway. The large exterior property was fun to explore and the host was very friendly.

Great Cabin for a Winter Getaway

Beautiful cabin that we hope to return to next year. Fantastic view and our boys were able to enjoy the snowy hillside in the front yard. Nice quiet time for family bonding!

Perfect Hilltop Cabin- Serene, Beautifil and Relaxing

My husband and I stayed for our 5 year anniversary on Columbus Day weekend Friday-Monday. It was the perfect amount of time. This place was MORE than it seemed on the site. Magical, simple and serene. I always love to be by water but looking out onto the 150 acres, hearing the birds and waking up on the front porch was everything. No lakeside needed. You know when a place is so great you want to keep it all to yourself? Well, I certainly fought myself to list all these things. :) A few things • At night, we’d lay in the grass with binoculars and watch the deer in the field • In the morning, sometimes we’d get a peak at the wild turkeys coming up to the house • We would sit on the front porch in THESE GREAT CHAIRS (Tim- where can we buy the tall chairs and tables?!) and just look over the field on a beautiful hill • As I said, the house sits on this gorgeous hill. The fall leaves were perfect. • We walked down to the creek. It should be called a private beach / river • There are horses on the property. Beautiful and friendly • There’s a Wegmans 25 minutes away • There’s Ellicottville Brewery by the water and 15 minutes away. It was so good we went twice for food. • Amazing ice cream 25 minutes away •Lastly, you MUST GO TO THE ROCK PARK. It sounded boring to me at first but my husband insisted. And I’m glad. It was one of the highlights. It’s like Lord of the Rings meets Game of Thrones meets Avatar. Such a magical place. Trust us on this. We’ve stayed at at least 20 vacation rentals- local and international. I only say that (not to sound haughty) but to say this in our top two or three. It really was such a good choice in the end. Lastly, my favorite part about this all is that it was simple. You had what you needed, nothing was complicated. We are coming back. Lovely stay in a quaint, picturesque cabin

The cabin was really lovely, open, clean, and well-suited to the needs of my group of friends on a long weekend away. It was especially nice to take advantage of the large porch and the beautiful view of the farm land. Tim made the stay very easy and low maintenance, and he offered recommendations for entertainment around town. There's nothing I would have wanted to change!

Beautiful cabin with a beautiful view

We just spent the weekend in this cabin and loved the location, the cabin and the view. Easily accessible from Route 86 and very close to the western side of the lake. The cabin was clean and nicely decorated and the beds were comfortable. We only stayed for two nights so didn't use many of the kitchen supplies but it is fully stocked with microwave, coffee pot, toaster,... Loved sitting on the porch overlooking the farm-land and valley. Affordable Italian restaurant called Andriaccios only about a mile away so taht was a good choice for us. Loved the stay hope to be able to visit again next year.

Picture perfect and immaculate cabin!

The views out the front porch were absolutely breath taking; the night skies and we even caught a fireworks show over the trees. We loved have a fire going, for s’mores, using our smoker and warmth! The interior of the cabin was immaculate and had everything we needed!

Wonderful place to call home for a long weekend.

Despite the dreary and very wet weather we enjoyed our weekend very much at this cozy and well appointed cabin not far from Lake Chautauqua. The owner, Tim was kind enough to bring us some nice and dry tinder to get the outdoor fire going.

Wonderful stay at cozy cabin!

We had a wonderful stay at Tim‘s cabin. The cabin is spacious, clean and comfortable, with rustic decor and everything you need. The kids enjoyed exploring the 150 acres, feeding the horses, and slept well at night! Many great things to explore nearby, including the Chautauqua institution, the reverie creamery as well as many natural sites. Tim was super helpful and nice, and brought up Dry wood so the kids could toast marshmallows. We will definitely return. An excellent stay, and definitely recommend it. Thank you Tim!
