Incredibile Mountain Log Home sul fiume Methow

Questa nuova casa di tronchi di cedro di lusso di 2400 piedi quadrati si trova alla confluenza dei fiumi Lost e Methow. Le finestre a prua di vetro di 35 piedi si affacciano sul fiume e sul North Cascades National Park. Sebbene il fiume diventi sotterraneo a volte durante l'autunno, il nuoto, la caccia alla roccia, la motoslitta e lo sci sono le attività preferite sul fiume.

Questa non è la solita casa vacanza "generica". È una "casa degli ospiti" e si sentirà così. Forniamo tutto il necessario per una fantastica visita, compresi molti piccoli elettrodomestici come waffle, gelatiere, crockpot, ecc. E tutto il sapone da bucato, shampoo, balsamo, saponi per il corpo, lozioni, prodotti di carta, kit di pronto soccorso, kit da cucito - e molto altro ancora.

L'accesso ai sentieri all'interno del Parco Nazionale, The Pasayten National Wilderness e la Foresta Nazionale di Okanogan sono facilmente raggiungibili a piedi. La struttura dispone di una grande sala con un vero camino in pietra e roccia e un comodo riscaldamento radiante a pavimento.

La casa è stata progettata in modo tale che ogni zona notte abbia una vista sul fiume. La camera da letto principale al piano superiore vanta un enorme letto king-size e un bagno completo, compresi i lucernari. Appena fuori dall'enorme soppalco (metà della casa) ci sono due letti queen-size e un pannello per la privacy, se lo si desidera.

Al piano inferiore si trova un'altra camera da letto privata con un letto matrimoniale e accesso al bagno al piano inferiore e alla lavanderia completa.

Nulla è trascurato in cucina, tra cui libri di ricette, stoviglie, ferro da stiro, macchina per il gelato e molti altri piccoli elettrodomestici. In cucina, è il frigorifero affiancato con fabbricatore di ghiaccio e tutti i principali elettrodomestici. Preparare e servire i pasti nell'enorme isola di acero è divertente. Il tavolo della sala da pranzo può ospitare 10 persone.

La grande TV / DVD / CD è pronta per il tuo intrattenimento così come molti DVD, CD, libri, riviste e giochi (compresi i bambini). Anche internet senza fili!

Il responsabile in loco (in un altro edificio) è lì per aiutarti con qualsiasi tua esigenza.

Questa guest house ti riporterà ancora e ancora solo per provare un'altra stagione qui a Mazama, un posto che chiamiamo "paradiso in terra".

If you are looking to put your feet in the river (which the picture showed) you will be very disappointed ! The river ran dry. I learned a lesson. Ask if the water is there. That is the reason we booked this house. Also, the caretakers live in the garage. To us, that was a little different.

A lovely home, but in a crowded little association with an airport as part of the community. It was great when the neighbors, who are very close, were gone during the week. Also, the river outside the house was dry in August. But, if you walk across the dried river bed and through a little woods, you can find a branch of the river running. There was a deep pool we soaked in. It was really hot when we were there. Also, no fly fishing on that part of the Methow River.

Nice place for vacation

Kids love the river in front of the lodge, and we enjoyed the stay. The house is well maintained and clean, and could easily accommodate 2 families.Host is responsive and friendly, and very helpful on all the questions I have asked.The only thing people might be aware is that the weather could be a bit different than we usually thought. It is surrounded by mountains so sometimes you feel humid and warm. But host has the cooler and fans which remedy the situation.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! It is a beautiful and spacious home that is well appointed with everything you would need. The beds were comfortable and bathrooms had great showers and space to spread out. The full size washer and dryer made it easy to clean our clothes after hiking and being outside all day. The location was great for hiking and accessing the trails of the North Cascades.

Beautiful Home on the River

We spent two nights at this property and next time we will invite friends/family and spend more time. The home is large, well appointed, clean and in a great location! Quiet and peaceful stay near great hiking, nice restaurants and pubs!

Relaxing stay

The home had beautiful windows looking out at the riverbed and trees. It was picture perfect. The home and it's owners are very pet friendly which is a hard find usually. It's close to trails, General Store and the Old School House Brewery which has delicious food. There are caretakers living above the garage. You can hear the movement but they are quiet for the most part. Beds are on the firmer side so you may need to bring a pillow topper.

Incredible stay

Every detail of our stay was well thought out and taken care of - from welcome treats that were greatly enjoyed to games to provisions for cooking indoors if you wanted, to recommendations for places to eat out at and things to do. Waking up to towering pine views from the large windows and chance encounters with deer outside - and the gurgling river - you can truly find calm, relax while enjoying the beauty of the Cascades. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Beautiful week at the river

Lovely cabin by a beautiful river. It was perfect for both a bachelorette weekend, and later, a getaway with an elderly parent. The weekend with friends was perfect, we had privacy in a great, safe location. The cabin was stocked with all the essentials and we had fun making meals together. Later with family, our dad enjoyed the ground level bedroom, bathroom, living area, and was easily able to walk down to the river on the path and sit when he wanted. We were worried about not having AC but there were many fans and even tho the temps outside were high, we were never uncomfortable in the house. Hosts communicated quickly and caretakers were helpful. Would absolutely recommend this cabin to anyone and we hope to return next year!

Spectacular Experience

It feels like staying at your best friend's house. We stayed for a week, and didn't run out of anything. The house is gorgeous and homey, the sheets are really soft, and the ice machine makes the glacier water taste even fresher. The caretakers, Susie and Bill, made sure we had everything we needed, and they even got me some flowers and a card, since I was having a quiet birthday getaway. We loved every single second of our stay, and will definitely be coming back.

Hidden Getaway

We absolutely loved this home! My family and I spent 2 days in the Mazama/Winthrop area and fell in love. The pictures not descriptions do it justice as this property is gorgeous. The owners are very communicative and gave tons of good advice on navigating the area. We built fires both nights, then roasted marshmallows and hotdogs by the river. We will be back for sure!

My friends and I had a comfortable stay. The home was well stacked with kitchen, bedding and bathroom essentials. The backyard has a view of the mountains and a river flowing, which is gorgeous. We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to others.

YOU WILL NEED NOTHING!

My husband, dog and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The owners/caretakers have thought of everything, from piles of extra blankets to spices and baking ingredients along with all kitchen appliances. The setting is right on the river and so many hiking trails in every direction. We will be back.

Beautiful Retreat and launchpad

What a special place to be fortunate to enjoy! Peaceful yet all the modern convinces. We enjoyed being able to walk the river bed and after a little walk the river was still flowing to our elation. Great location to feel away and head into the mountains for a multitude of hikes but also only 12 min from the store in Mazama and 30 min to Winthrop. Had a chance to speak with the caretaker Bill a few times and addressed any concerns right away and was very amicable. Prior to rental dates owner addressed questions we had promptly and made sure we were all setup prior. Hope to return again!

great base camp

we love mazama so much! this was such a clean quiet and spacious home for our party of 5. a perfect spot to cook dinner and relax after a great day of hiking!! the river was running dry, but it was a short walk to the full channel which made for a nice after dinner stroll. appreciated all the fans to help cool down the house. Highly recommend.

Enjoyed our stay!

The house was terrific for a three-night stay for five friends. Clean, well equipped, nice beds and furniture. The host was very responsive to any questions and providing additional information. On-site caretaker is very nice.

That's NOT a Barbeque!

The location was great, and we did enjoy ourselves, and the house is well furnished with everything you might need, but with that said, there are several problems with it: They state they have a "barbeque" but unless you plan to cook just 3 burgers or 6 hotdogs, you are out of luck. It is smaller than the hibachi I snuck into my dorm room at Uni. I planned 2 evening meals around it and had to do everything inside heating up the house. The adults complained about the beds. We slept downstairs and with every tiny movement it would squeak and bounce and was so hard neither of us slept. Reminded me of old army bunks! Those on the king-sized bed said the same thing. The bedding was nice however. Very soft and cozy. With a wide-open floor plan, the noise is something to consider if you have little ones who go to bed early and rise roaring to go early :) One other problem was the air conditioner is located on the first floor way back in the laundry room. Cold air sinks; warm air rises. We had to have several large, loud fans going to be comfortable. Kids should bring bikes: lots of trails and places to ride.
