Private and secluded and in the Hocking Hills region located next to the Le Petit Chevalier Vineyard & Winery. 11 miles to Hocking Hills State Park Visitor's Center and 8 miles to Ash Cave. New Property includes 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, well equipped kitchen, private hot tub, and an outdoor fire pit. Must be 21 years or older to rent. AWD/4WD recommended in all seasons.

It was a nice place, I did feel it was far from things to do with kids (Teens). I didn’t like only 1 TV in the whole place and A LOT of lady bugs in and outside the house.

HUGE SAFETY ISSUE with SHARP END of screws protruding from lower bunk bed resulting in child's injury. (see pix) Dishwasher NOT WORKING the entirety of our stay even though we asked the host the week prior to our stay to verify it was working correctly as mentioned in a prior review months ago (see pix). Property NOT clean (see pix). Property NOT maintained (see pix). NOT adequately supplied for longer term stays. Majority of reviews are for short term stays. This property is not equipped for week long stays, which is what we had. Ran out of dish soap. Ran out of dish towels. Host is a property management group with multiple rentals. They expect the guest to do the screening and reporting of issues to them throughout their stay, vs doing their own due diligence to ensure the property is in turn-key condition for the guest.
POINTED end of screw protruding from bunk bed. Ended up injuring our grandchild.
Furniture propped up on wood blocks (unattached) as mentioned 7 months prior in another review.
Vent cover to refrigerator was broken off and was propped up against the wall upon our arrival.
Apparent repair attempted but not completed to ceiling/wall. Mudded, but not painted.

The home was beautiful and well-equipped with nearly everything we needed for our stay. The location was ideal and convenient for all the activities we had planned. Communication with the host and rental company was excellent—they responded promptly to any questions via email. The hot tub was clean and in perfect working condition, which we really enjoyed.To make this a five-star experience, a few improvements could be made. The cookware is showing signs of wear, as pans are warped and the larger utensils could use an upgrade. Additionally, three of the four kitchen chairs have loose or unstable legs and could pose a safety concern if not positioned correctly. The outdoor chairs around the fire pit were covered in grass, and a few were also broken.Overall, we would recommend this property for its great location and amenities, but a few upgrades and maintenance touches would elevate it to a truly exceptional stay.

Very nice place as listed. We came for Hocking Hills and this property was close enough (20min), but still felt like it was well removed (good and bad). I was hoping the kids would have for more to explore on the property, but lots of overgrowth vs woods. The place was clean and well stocked with expected items. Great communication from hosts. A few updates/repairs/additions could really set this place off, but still a great stay.

Family Birthday Vacation

We surprised my husband for hus birthday with a vacation to this cabin and couldn't have been more happier. Our host made it so easy for us and was great at answering all of our questions. The cabin was clean and fresh with everything we needed. The hot tub was ready to go upon arrival and plenty of clean white towels for the whole family. Definitely would recommend this little gem and we can't wait to go back. We have been going to Hocking hills area for over 20 years and this has been one of the best. Thank you for making my husband's birthday so much fun.

Dark Night Sky / Bright Sunny Mornings

This house is gorgeous, the pictures don't do it justice. The property location is beautiful and private, we star gazed from the hot tub at night and greeted the morning sun from the porch in the morning. Literally when it was raining in other parts of the park, this property was sunny! Two full bathrooms helped maintain sanity with three kids, plus the master bedroom and bath are on the lower level tucked away from the kids so we had privacy and everyone had their own space. Gorgeous and very relaxing by the fire at night.

Good time

Wish there were salt. Pepper. And oil. Other than that it was a great place to stay. We hiked by day and used the hot tub at night.
