The amenities were frustratingly scarce for a group and home of our stay's size. There were no sponges, paper towels, extra toilet paper, blankets, paper towels, laundry detergent, hand soap in the kitchen, extra dishwasher pods, trash bags (particularly frustrating given we are expected to take out the trash), cleaning spray. We also fielded a maintenance visit for the indoor pool with no warning. A man walked into the backyard without notice while my children were in the hot tub. He was very polite and made us feel safe (this review is in no way a reflection of his doing his job), but we absolutely should not have been caught off guard by a visitor who expected to come inside of the home during our stay.

Lovely

We had a great time at the property. The kids had a blast in the pool, hot tub, and playing pool. Very close to Deep Creek and Swallow Falls. Response from management was wonderful.

Mountain, lake getaway

My family went to enjoy the lake but ended up enjoying the cabin rental more. My kids loved the pool, hot tub and sauna.

Bitter sweet

We had a great time. The welcome package had laundry and dish detergent and toilet paper. We brought our own but were glad to see we didn’t need to use it. The thermostat sets the temperature in the pool area so on the cold day we made the house extra hot so we could be comfortable in the pool. The hot tub and sauna were great. The temperature could be adjusted but you have to do it every 15 minutes. The only downside was the roaches. The floor was sticky when we arrived and my husband did his best to mop the floor but under the refrigerator was so many roaches. We sprayed but they came out at night when most of the group was sleeping. I couldn’t let my baby crawl around because of the roaches. Yikes!! Also the dishwasher didn’t work. We ran it twice and still needed to wash the majority of the dishes by hand. Other than that, it was a comfortable stay.

Very Beautiful Cabin

My family had a GREAT stay at Summit Ridge! Overall things were very accommodating. We brought a ton of food n snacks. Summit Ridge had all the dishes we needed to get cooking. We grilled in the snow also… The cabin had plenty books n board games for family fun. It was a spacious clean n cozy place!!! I’d say it’s definitely 4 ⭐️ for me. I deferred from a five star rating because we encountered the following: The jetted tub did not jet n the birthday girl was looking forward to a nice relaxing bath. We planned to swim but the pool room was too cold n drafty and the water was cold. (It snowed n Rained) The wood provided was left outside so it was wet n wouldn’t burn properly in the fireplace. Everything else was just as described ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a blast n my mom enjoyed her 65th Birthday Weekend ❤️ *Lastly turning the shower on was tricky u have to pull down the nozzle around the faucet, there weren’t any instructions for that…so here ya go *

February getaway

This is the second anniversary of our girls getaway. Great house, comfortable beds, beautiful fireplaces, and well stocked kitchen. The only down falls for me was the water temperatures in the pool and hot tub. I prefer them to be a warmer in the winter months. Our group wants to return next year if budget allows.

Winter Getaway

Beautiful location…ideal setting. Our family of four grown daughters and their significant others/ children enjoyed our time here. The property was a great size…we enjoyed playing pool, sitting by the fire and the hot tub. The property needs some repairs.

Nearly there

This is a very nice house and we really enjoyed ourselves. Our only complaint is that you can tell it is managed by a rental company. It was the small things that knocked this property down from a 5 star review. Clunky old toilets, missing and damaged items in the kitchen, doors that just don’t quite latch right, holes in the screens, shower curtains missing half the hooks, a mostly working hot tub with a slightly broken cover. It just needs a deep clean and someone who actually cares to do the upkeep and it would be somewhere we’d go to every year.

Beautiful home. Would rate 5 with a few tweaks to the property.

Wonderful location and a great space for our group of 8 and our dog. Make sure you bring ALL your own toilet paper, soap paper towels and garbage bags! They aren’t joking…they do not provide it. One towel and one washcloth per person only provided. Which was quite surprising considering the cost of the rental. No propane available so we couldn’t grill our meal as we planned either. A map or some detailed information regarding where to take trash would have been helpful. We drove around with garbage in our car for 30 minutes trying to find the dumpster. However, these “complaints” are minor and wouldn’t stop us from returning except that that we know we need to pack more items and I’m not sure we had any more room in our car.

Winter retreat

The skiers and snowboarders had a great time, as did the hikers! The pool, sauna, and hottub were a real treat after a day in the cold. The home was lovely and private yet centrally located, including a little bonus lodge at the top of the slopes? The dogs loved the big yard and to be a part of our family trip. We will be back!

Wonderful!

My family and I stayed here for a long weekend. The house had plenty of room for all 14 of us. The sauna, hot tub and pool were great. The bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen were perfect for a large group. The only minor complaint we noticed was the windows are in need of cleaning and there were cobwebs hanging from all of the light fixtures, it could use a deeper clean periodically. But overall, we loved it!
