Welcome to Azalea Hideaway! Our family loves living in one of the most amazing stretches of the beautiful North Coast. It’s a wonderful opportunity to be able to share our space and our private 1/2 acre backyard of beautiful Redwood forests with visitors. You will love exploring the areas beautiful beaches ,redwood trails, fishing, and shopping throughout the year. After all, our home is your home tonight! So let us be the first to say, welcome home!
Dogs are welcome with extra fee of $125 (per dog) and prior approval. Please email before booking if you are traveling with pets. LIMIT is 2 dogs.

Situated in a quiet and extremely desirable neighborhood in McKinleyville, this private location has so much to offer guests! This modern and comfortable home in the redwoods, with space for up to five lucky guests, features a 1/2 acre back yard, a concrete slab with ample seating and a gas grill, and plenty of privacy. Inside, this rental boasts an inviting living room, ample space for dining, a well-equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, and a genuine feel of comfort throughout. This home is perfect for families!

At Upscale Exclusive, you are just a quick drive from the campus of Cal Poly Humboldt, downtown Arcata, and the Plaza. You'll find all of the conveniences close by including restaurants, shops, massage therapists, cafes, bookstores, and much, much more. For outdoor adventure, this home is only 25 miles south of Redwood National Park, 50 miles north of Humboldt Redwoods State Park, and only six miles from ocean beaches.

Good location

This is our second time staying here and will not be our last. Good location for visiting the beach, hiking in the forest, or just checking out all the restaurants nearby. Also, the backyard is a nice place to sit outside and it is fenced and large if you bring your pet.

Lovely home perfect location

This was our second stay at this home. The location is perfect for beach combing and hiking in the redwoods. Beds were comfortable and the showers were great. Quiet neighborhood. Hope to see you next year

Redwoods Adventures

This was the perfect place for us to stay at while we were visiting the area. It was a central location to be able to do day trips to Eureka, Arcata, Trinidad and Fern Canyon. The house had everything we needed and a beautiful backyard. The street is pretty dark so be careful when driving. The listing is accurate. Two of the rooms are connected, but can be seperated a sliding barn door. The only thing I wish there was more of was bath towels or access to the washing machine/ dryer. I would definitely stay here again though.

Girls weekend

Great stay. Many details are thought of here. Tape and scissors available for use. Close to the airport, beaches, and redwoods. Good food nearby. Easy check-in and check-out. I recommend staying here!!

Quiet and relaxing

We enjoyed our stay and loved the neighborhood. Place was clean and well appointed with a big backyard. We had two criticisms of the place though. The third bedroom isn’t really a bedroom and you have to walk through a bedroom to get a bathroom.

Redwoods and the ocean

This was an awesome stay! The location is PERFECT. We were minutes away from multiple beaches, tide pools, beautiful rivers, farmers markets and those amazing redwoods! It was fun exploring Eureka, Arcata and Trinidad. The home was beautiful. It was just where we needed to unwind after a day of hiking and playing by the ocean. Both beds were comfy the bathrooms were spotless and the showered were great. The kitchen had everything we needed to whip up a quick breakfast before heading out. Each nite we had a comfy couch and a big old TV to watch. It was heaven!
