Cozy 1-bedroom studio apartment in pleasant McLean with AC, arcade game, huge TV

This place is the the perfect place for an extended stay if you're working anywhere in central IL. Nice, remodeled apartment in quiet building with plenty of parking. Full kitchen, laundry, central air, huge new TV with Netflix, Amazon, Paramount+, HBOMax, genuine arcade game with 60 classic games you can play for free. Even has a small back porch for smokers or if you just need a nice outdoor spot to relax after a long day. Nice queen bed, plus a double sleeper sofa if needed.

The space
This is a very nice and comfortable studio apartment space that is great for just a weekend, or a 6 month assignment - whatever you need. Our "adpoted" Russian sons lived here for almost 2 years and really enjoyed the place. They said in Russia there would be 6 people living in an apartment this large.

Once they moved on to college, we renovated the space and bought a bunch of nice, new, comfortable furniture. It has about 500-600 sq ft total and is on the ground floor of a building with one larger apartment above it.

The front part of the apartment has the bed and a huge Ikea wardrobe unit that should be able to hold all the clothing and accessories you would need for a very long stay. It also has a nice new sleeper sofa that opens to a full sized bed if needed for additional guests or visitors.

The front room also has a huge 70" smart TV and DVD player that allows free streaming of Netflix, Amazon Prime, HBO Max, and Paramount Plus. We do not have a game system currently connected to it, but you are welcome to bring your own PS, Switch, Wii, or XBox and hook it up to the TV during your stay.

Because we are primarily in the Arcade business, we have installed one authentic Galaga videogame cabinet in the apartment, and set it up so that it can play 60 classic games for free.

The kitchen is fully stocked with all the appliances and tools you might need to prepare meals. It has two refrigerators - a full sized one and a smaller one under the counter. Also a stove / oven and microwave oven. There is a small dining table that can expand to double the size if needed.

We also installed a brand new Whirlpool stacked washer / dryer unit for those who need a longer stay here.

There is plenty of free parking right in front of the place so that shouldn't be a problem. There is also room next to the building for a trailer or motorcycle or whatever other extra vehicle you might need to have handy during your stay.

Guests will have full private access to the entire place. No areas are shared with anyone else.

This apartment is very conveniently located.

Other things to note
McLean is a very safe, friendly town. Be prepared to be greeted by strangers on the sidewalk. It's a nice town to go for an evening stroll. You can leave your car unlocked and your windows down without fear of harm. Think Mayberry.
