Hotel in zona McLeod Ganj, Dharamshala

“A unique gem, hidden away in McLeod Ganj. Staff is very helpful and courteous. Rooms are very clean and well maintained. Rooms feature world class facilities. Breakfast buffet is excellent and includes expresso drinks. A nice bar with a view. Rooms facing the valley have a nice view, They also have a full spa and gym onsite. Its also very close to the center of the area and is accessed by narrow city streets. Reception is great at arranging taxis to take you to local destinations. If you are...

“Good Location and Facilities, but Some Important Concerns The hotel is conveniently located and offers helpful parking. The reception staff were welcoming and provided good service. The Superior and Maharaja Rooms have scenic mountain views, and the food was good, although the restaurant serves only vegetarian dishes—a limitation that should be communicated in advance. However, the spacious bathrooms need serious refurbishment, as the taps and showers were leaking. The Superior Room also had a...

“Very slow internet Room was ok Location is hard to find and to get to ”

“The staff were so helpful and really looked after us. Even quickly giving me a seperate room to my friend very late at night, when she was really ill and needed space. The location is also stunning. I would recommend Chonor House. Thanks.”

“Good place. I extended my stay.”

“Location was great”

“The room was very clean and the hotel location is in a peaceful forest 15 minutes walk to McLeod Ganj where the Dalai Lama lives and the main square. The food at breakfast was excellent and you can ask for things like bananas that were not on the table. The staff were attentive. Our laundry service was excellent as well.”

“There was no hygiene”

“Great view! Helpful staff. But the linens were not very clean. ”

“Thank you for a comfortable stay!”

“Tres bien situe et tres clean parfait ”

“The hygiene was an issue in the room and common areas. The room was dark and dingy. Utensils were not clean. The hotel is not well maintained.”

“The only pro is the location, everything else is below average. They falsely advertise self parking available but there are only two parking spots, 1 for the owner, another for 1 customer. Luckily there is a public parking lot close by. The rooms, sheets, towels, everything smelled awful like they haven't been replaced in years. Stay literally anywhere else. The staff has a hard time communicating amongst themselves and try to charge you for stuff you haven't even ordered. They have no...

“I was physically attacked by the manager of this hotel. He became very aggressive when I offered to pay with an international card but he only accepts cash or UPI. When I wanted to get cash for him, he refrained me from taking by bags in the car. When I tried to leave, he grabbed me at the throat and scratched my arm. When I left one bag behind to get cash, he locked up the driver and took his keys and phone. Sunny, the manager, is a dangerous man and I warn you to stay away from the hotel....
