We booked this hotel as a local getaway from the kids for a weekend.
The pool was empty and had gathered dirt, so it looked like it had been empty for a while. There was no mention of this on the website and was disappointing because we had specifically looked for a hotel with a pool.
The whole property was run down, patched and ragged. Holes in the curtains, cracks and holes in the lampshades, worn carpets and linens.
Speaking of linens, in order to get clean towels, you have to turn-in your dirty towels. When I tried to do this, I was told, at 5:00 pm, that they didn't have any clean towels. NO CLEAN TOWELS at 5:00 pm? The front desk clerk also had no idea, not even an estimate, as to when towels would be available.
There is a CASH deposit required of locals ($100) that was never mentioned until check-in. When you check out, you have to request that they go and inspect the room. Then you wait until somebody has time to do this. Then you MIGHT finally get your $100 back as long as they don't find something to charge you for... extremely shady.
Although we had booked for two nights, we checked out after one. I would not recommend staying at the Quality Inn, GP.
