Our stay was great! Cabin was so cute and had everything we needed. Bed was very comfortable. Anytime we had a question for host, they replied in a timely manner. The only thing we didnt like was the water pressure. But other than that, we had a great time! Liked that everything was close, and we really didn't have to drive far, unless we chose to. Alot of great scenery. Plus Bison, elk and deer. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.Eddie & Cheryl Richardson

This place was a total sham and scam from the very beginning. False advertisement and photoshopped photos, of a rundown old cabin. Someone has tried very hard to false represent this cabin. And they have achieved that on VRBO. I wish I could file a complaint or upload photos of all the trash and junk that has been piled around this rustic beauty. If we had other options we would not have stayed there at all. We would have left. But our money had already been collected. Oh ya, they assured me you could get a boat in the driveway. It only took me 30 minutes back it down the hill two blocks away. No way of turning around. If someone is thinking about renting this place. DON'T DON'T AND DON'T.I made a mistake on the dates and had to pay for another day. But it was not my choice, it was necessity.
This is an old house site and dump it sets to the north side of the cabin. Great view of a landfill.
This is the cozy little RV that sits right next to your property where the guy starts working on lawn mowers at daylight hammering and banhimg away at your back door
This is your panoramic view as you're looking back towards Mount Scott. But wait a minute you have to walk out in front of the trailer to see it.
If you drive to the other side of medicine Creek . To the beautiful scenic turnout and turn around and take a photograph of the rustic red cabin and all of the garbage that goes with it....

All the dishes were dirty even to the eye. The can opener was so old and rusted it didnt even turn. There was no couch and only 1 chair to sit on. The view would have been great had it not been obscured by a defunct travel trailer. The opposite side of the house was no better as it had a literal pile of what appeared to be lumber and drywall from a torn down structure. There was huge chemical storage vats all over the property and it was just overall the worst experience I've had to date on any rental I've gotten from any travel site.

The house is small but cute. We stayed while attending a graduation at Fort Sill. There is a RV/trailer on one side that is right there which isn't seen in the pictures online but we had no issues with them. The views are incredible and driving through the park just up the road was amazing. Definitely worth it.

Upon arriving at the location, the property had not been mowed, the trash cans had not been put out in a while and the Mountain View language should be removed despite if it was before the trashy and overgrown property on both sides make you feel like you’re staying in a dump. The inside was okay an a slight attempt is made to feel less trashy than the surrounding area. The cabin had not been sufficiently clean as details were missed, including cleaning the shower properly because I have athletes foot fungus which I have not had since I was 10 years old and I have not stayed anywhere else and my shower is spotless. The beds should have four pillows per bed if it’s listed as as it is. The day bed in the main area is a joke for a couch! At least provide a mound of pillows to provide back support in lieu of a couch. The kitchen is nice but the door to the fridge is too the wall and should have been placed differently in the room. The worse fail is the bidet for the commode! No one wants cold water shot up their as$! Install a hot water line and correctly set it up as it should be or remove the stupid thing. The handle to the toilet was hard to flush and the rooms were not dusted. If you are going to charge for cleaning services, make sure the cleaning service does the cleaning. Overall impression; serious improvements need to be done and I’ve never left a bad review such as this one. Put up a fence on both sides to block the trashy property or complain to the city council.

The cabin was very cute, we had no issues while we were there. This was out first time to Medicine Park, it is a very cute little town that has not been taken over by commercialization, definitely a hidden little gem that will take you back in time a little bit. Enjoy it while it last.

I will start out with the little cabin Was very cute, very nicely decorated inside and basically pretty clean loved the patio, because the weather was so good that you could just sit out there. The scenery just around the house itself was nice.We really like the cactuses but across the street and across the way that junkie trailer did not look very nice or the junk.On the other side of the property, but that's what medicine park is like. We would stay in the little red cabin again.May do it soon.

This place is awesome. It was just what we needed to enjoy our first family vacation! It is very cozy and was an ideal location, too! Google Escape the Park and it’s down the road!The only reason I added a 4-star to one of the sections was because there was a big ole RV parked in our view of Mt. Scott. Not the owners fault by any means, it just wasn’t in the photos.Lastly, there is only one thing I would change… adding a cabinet “lock” to the bottom cabinet under the kitchen sink. My toddler kept wanting to hang out in there and there was bug spray and stuff… but it was easy to also just place all of that stuff on top of the fridge.

The host was very responsive. We rented the place due to our son graduating from AIT at Fort Sill. Very close to the base. Located the the little red cabin was a little tricky at 3am. But once we found it, it was nice clean and cool inside. Waking up to the mountain veiw was amazing.

Cute cabin inside and was clean. Pictures of the property made it look more remote than it actually was, but it was a neat town and pretty area with the Wichita Mountains. The neighboring property on each side of the cabin was undesirable.

Absolutely adorable cabin!! Decorated so cute!! Perfect look out spot to see the entire Medicine Park strip, super close to everything, great host, wonderful communication!! We had a blast, highly recommend.

Wedding Night!

My husband and I got married at Wichita Wildflower and stayed the night here the night of! It was such a cute place with a gorgeous view of Medicine Park! Highly recommend!

False Advertising

The picture is completely inaccurate and outdated. The Mountain View it’s supposed to have is blocked by a nasty RV and junk. Other side is surrounded by trash from an old restaurant being torn down. Junk on both sides! It was horrible driving up and realizing this was the place I put money on for our vacation. There was a random man sleeping under the RV on the dirt beside an empty dog cage and toilet on the ground. The owners will not answer their phone, only will talk via text. Their website is suspicious as our virus protection won’t even pull it up. No in person office. Complete swindlers. Do NOT advertise for these people anymore!
