The joke of this is that they are trying to bill us €50 for leaving the apartment dirty. (After we complained). We would like to see the photos for this damage. Disgusting. We will take up with Expedia.”

“VRBO can be hit or miss, but what made this one work for me was the communication from the owner. International travel somehow screwed up my access to the app so the owner texted directly with me and got me in! The place was small but that’s all I needed and it worked out great. ”

“Our stay was very pleasant, except the ever present toxic smell of gasoline in the whole house, coming from a large gas tank in the garage. Our friends staying downstairs had to sleep with their windows open. By the end of the one week trip we were just sick of it. Our host Stephane was very nice and helpful though. If the smell got resolved, it would be very nice place overall.”
