Apartment "Luna Meadow" in the countryside - ideal for nature lovers & those seeking peace and quiet

Our lovingly renovated vacation rental, “Luna Meadow,” is located in the idyllic hamlet of Heed—a charming neighborhood of Meinerzhagen offering plenty of nature, fresh air, and an abundance of peace and relaxation. It’s ideal for two adults who appreciate tranquility, comfort, and nature. Dogs are also warmly welcome here, so you can enjoy your vacation together with your four-legged companion.

The vacation rental is part of a former hiking lodge but is completely self-contained. With about 65 square meters of space, you’ll have your own private retreat with everything you need for a wonderful stay.

The apartment was newly renovated in 2024 and now features a new, fully equipped kitchen—complete with a stove, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, and toaster. Of course, you’ll have plenty of dishes, silverware, glasses, and cooking utensils at your disposal. Whether you just want to enjoy a morning coffee or prepare a multi-course dinner—you’ll find everything you need here.

The vacation rental has a separate entrance, as well as its own small garden with a patio. The garden is fenced in, so you’ll have it all to yourselves.

If a long shower rolls in and rain isn’t really your thing, you can spend your time comfortably on the cozy couch in the living room with a cup of coffee and streaming TV.

The bedroom, with its large double bed and absolute quiet, guarantees a restful and deep sleep.

The bathroom has a shower, sink, and toilet: bright, clean, and functional—just as it should be.

Wi-Fi? Of course, we have that too. Fast and with great coverage!

A fire pit makes even cooler evenings especially cozy. For active guests, there’s even a ping-pong table.

You’ll be staying in the heart of a typical Sauerland cultural landscape with rolling hills, dense forests, and clear reservoirs. Numerous hiking and biking trails begin right at your doorstep and wind through the Ebbe Mountains. The nearby Nordhelle—the highest point in the region—offers sweeping views and is a popular destination for nature lovers. The Genkel and Lister reservoirs are also within easy reach and offer opportunities for walking, biking, fishing, or simply relaxing by the water.

In just a few minutes by car, you can reach the city center of Meinerzhagen, where you’ll find supermarkets, bakeries, cafés, and restaurants. Lüdenscheid, Attendorn, and Gummersbach are also nearby and perfect for day trips. For culture enthusiasts, a visit to the Atta Cave, the Technology Museum in Freudenberg, or a stroll through historic half-timbered villages in the area is well worth it.
