“I had heard so many great things about Luang Prabang, I wanted to check it out. My stay at the Pha Nya Residence was outstanding. Check in was easy, the staff was so very friendly, and the location was great. The breakfast was also very good - try the Northern Lao soup. It was great and I had it every day.”

“Beautiful historical property managed by kind, professional, and attentive staff. We enjoyed a wonderful 2-night/3-day stay there in May 2025. The hotel is clean, peaceful, and excellently-located close to the river, the night market, and all of the temples. We highly recommend staying at this property. It is a perfect base from which to explore Luang Prabang.”

“It was very quite there. 50 meters from the night mkt in one direction and 50 meters from the morning mkt in the other. Friendly staff and very, very clean. Excellent value for money. ”

“Such a lovely place to Stay. On south bank of river away from centre so super quiet. Bit of a problem until river works finish next month as no bamboo bridge. This normally makes 10 walk in to centre. At moment its 30 mins using the old bridge or a boat service that does save much time.. Great breakfast..Nice residental area.”

Molto confortevole con ampie stanze pulitissime e personale gentilissimo, accortissimo e disponibile. Durante il soggiorno è stato il mio compleanno e sono venuti a portarmi la torta in stanza! Una delle scelte migliori a Luang Prabang, se si vuole andare sul sicuro.”

“A wonderful hotel, where the welcome is as warm as the weather. Villa Maly is a fantastic Boutique hotel, with beautiful rooms and facilities and such a great place to unwind and relax. The hotel is handy and convenient in a central location and walkable or a short taxi trip to the main shops, restaurants and the river. The rooms, whilst slightly smaller than you'd get in a 'modern' hotel are well equipped, clean and very nicely presented. The pool is awesome if you're visiting Luang...
