Mid-Century Oasis w/Game Room & Private Patio In The Heart Of Melbourne

A 1950's old-school experience! The living room has high wood ceilings that create a classic yet modern feel. The fully equipped kitchen and dining area invite shared meals, and the private patio surrounded by lush greenery. Nestled in a Floridan paradise, minutes from downtown, restaurants, and short drive to the beach.

Each room in the house has its own climate control so you can set the temperature according to your desire! (We have installed all new mini split air conditioning.)

For those of you with larger families, you can search for the attached (but separate) studio apartment located above the carport: PALM VIEW (Property #2068644). Only the driveway is shared.

This isn't just a house, it's a destination! Just 1 hr from Orlando. Situated next to Erna Nixon park with some of the most beautiful walking/biking trails in all of Florida!

Palm Point was built in 1950 by one of the founders of Melbourne Village. The design is unique with all the rooms exiting to an expansive porch loaded with casement windows for an excellent view. The home still carries its historic feel, yet with modern amenities. It is a natural park-like oasis in the middle of the city of Melbourne in coastal central Florida. Everyone loves Melbourne Village. It is one of the most sought out communities to live in all of the Space Coast! We have a playground and basketball court. The townspeople are extremely friendly and traffic is minimal. Many of the lots are a full acre with lots of large, mature trees.

It's just 7 miles to the beach, 30 minutes to Cocoa Beach, a few minutes to I-95, lots of dining options, Melbourne Square Mall, The Henegar Center for the Arts, FIT, Melbourne Airport, 2 movie theaters, lots of shopping, etc. You will find residents of the village out and about with their dogs, enjoying the beautiful trees, birds and tortoises. Nature lovers will appreciate the bird-watching (bald eagles, hawks, owls, and swallow tailed kites abound). Many wild rabbits and the back yard has 4 gopher tortoise holes, so they are out and about during the day as well. (They are a federally protected animal, so don't disturb/touch them.)

Exceptional stay

Very private and peaceful home! The location is central to shopping and restaurants and close to the Indian River and beaches, but located in a park-like setting surrounded by trees, providing a very serene stay. Indoor and outdoor games provided entertainment for young and young-at-heart alike. The homeowners were very responsive. I would definitely stay again!

It truly is an oasis! Even before entering the home we were stunned by the large, beautiful landscape and forest-like setting. Very Quaint and Comfortable

Family stayed at the property while home repairs were being made. The property is clean and very comfortable. The kids enjoyed the outdoor area for running and playing. All in all a great stay.

A picturesque Florida experience

This home was so incredibly unique and cozy! We were able to host a baby shower here and it couldn't have been more perfect! The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you would need, the rooms are all comfy and have individual AC units for your own comfort. It was just the perfect choice for our family stay. The owners were so excellent with communication and understanding as well. We couldn't have asked for a better place to have our family gathering.

Lovely, just lovely.

We stayed here for a 5 day softball tournament that was 20 minutes away. The house was beautiful inside and out. A fresh coat of paint had just been applied before our stay and the property was manicured exceptionally well inside and outside. Privacy was super, even with a neighborhood upstairs apartment over the garage. The yard was spacious with multiple locations to lounge, and my daughter (pitcher) was even able to get some practice reps in the lower lawn before her games. Communication with the owner was superb and always timely. They did their best to help us feel right at home. The interior was just the right space for the family and was clean and tidy. Restaurants and shopping were right around the corner, yet the property was tucked away off the beaten path where you'd never know you were that close. Plus, it's about 15 minutes from the beach! If you like quiet and cozy, this place checks almost every box for a family to do it all. When we come to the Space Coast area, we will definitely keep this location on our list for a revisit! Thank you Jonathan and Carrie for having us!

The property and the home worked perfect for our needs. We had a family celebration in Melbourne Village. With only one vehicle for the 6 of us (two were in the upstairs unit and four in main level unit), it was super easy to walk the neighborhood trail to our relative's home in the Village. The place was clean, quiet, beautiful. The owners were super responsive to a couple of small glitches. We would definitely recommend both units and would stay there again.

I knew the property ahead of time. It’s location was the most important thing but the the house proved to exceed all expectations. The grounds are worthy of a magazine spread. The interior was impeccably kept. I needed little but every contingency was prepared for. I will definitely return if the house isn’t sold!

Really lovely shady respite!

This house is lovely and super comfortable. Husband, daughter, a friend and I stayed for 4 nights while visiting our son attending Florida Tech. The owners are super chill but give you all that you need to enjoy and more! Lots of turtles on the property :). It was nice to come to this shady spot after a hot. sunny day at the beach. Melbourne is a very nice beach spot and this house was great!

Awesome house!

This was a fantastic place to stay. We had never been to Florida and just found this online. Everything was so simple. The owners reached out to us as soon as we booked it and kept in touch throughout. They sent all the directions and how to get in and it was all perfect. The house is beautiful. Seriously one of the cleanest places I have ever stayed. Beds were very comfortable. Plenty of places to sit and relax. The grounds kept perfect and fun to look around. The house is large and spread out. It had everything we needed there. Only thing we had to get was some food which obviously was not going to be provided. It was amazing! Highly recommend anyone to stay here

Wonderful location for a memorable visit!

The setting is Old Florida amidst beautiful tropical gardens and palm trees. The house is very charming and comfortable, and our family members all said their beds and showers were very comfortable. We also rented the studio above the carport and that was so nice for a quiet place to sleep in and sip coffee out on the upstairs patio. We will definitely come back again!

This place truly is an oasis! It is so clean and cozy . So much room for our family of 8 to cook together and play games and just hang out together . It had everything we needed for a week away from everyday life . The location is great , an easy drive to nearby beaches and Orlando . The yard is gorgeous and well kept . The Roman shower in the master was my favorite ❤️ It is clear that the owners actually care about the people that rent their home and want them to enjoy their stay ! This place is 5 ⭐️ all the way !

Lovely home

We rented this home for a week traveling back and forth to Space Coast Park for baseball. The house was located in a quiet neighborhood close to lots of stores and restaurants. We loved the property and my son did a lot of exploring. It was nice to walk the trails around the neighborhood. The owners were very accommodating and kind. We are very satisfied with our choice to rent this house.

Excellent location, quiet neighborhood, lots of privacy with the big yard. House is very clean, well-stocked bathrooms and kitchen. Lots of room for entertaining. Pull out couch a little worn out, but tolerable. My family enjoyed our stay. Will definitely be back.
