“I stayed here whilst working away. The place is very clean and modern; everything looks brand new. The other review states the bed was too hard; I found it to be extremely soft. I’m wondering whether one side is harder than the other as it’s basically two single beds made into a king. The owner was friendly and helped show me round. “L’appartamento è centralissimo pulito e attrezzato, ma è senza ascensore e arrivare al terzo piano con i bagagli diventa faticoso. Ma la cosa che più abbiamo sofferto è stato il caldo perché non è climatizzato è dotato solo di un ventilatore ,di notte è stato una sauna.”

“Very central apartment and nice inside but not really big enough for 4 people. No storage space for clothes etc and sofa could not accommodate four people. Very limited cooking equipment (only one frying pan - no other pots for cooking). Pictures on booking site misleading- main picture is of hot tub and roof terrace leading me to believe it was shared between guests but in fact was only for guests in penthouse suite. Very noisy during the night with bin collections and glass/bottle...

“L’appartamento è molto bello, lo stabile pure, letti confortevoli, salotto camera e bagno puliti, invece la cucina e gli utensili erano veramente sporchi così come i cassetti, per lo standard di un appartamento a 4 stelle anche gli asciugamani dovevano essere diversi, ce ne hanno forniti solo quattro e di media misura assolutamente piccoli per il dopo-doccia. L’appartamento si salva perché lo stabile georgiano è veramente affascinante e i due camini stupendi, ma fossi nella società controllerei...

“We stayed here for one night en route back to London. The barn flat was immaculate, comfortable and ideal for a short stay. Anna greeted us on arrival and was a charming host. We highly recommend the Churchill Arms for dinner – only a 5-10 minute walk and our meal was excellent. In all, a wonderful experience – we would definitely stay here again.”
