Pigsty Cottage è un appartamento spazioso all'interno di un Orangerie, è un posto incantevole in cui soggiornare. Ben attrezzato, con un letto e materasso kingsize di alta qualità, parcheggio custodito e cancelli elettrici. Una bella posizione rurale, splendidi giardini. Ottimo per visite a Bath, Stonehenge, Salisbury e Devizes

L'Orangerie è circondato da giardini incantevoli che offrono pace e tranquillità per il vostro soggiorno. Leggero, arioso e privato dalla casa principale offre un rifugio perfetto. Comodi divani e una cucina completamente attrezzata vi faranno sentire a casa! C'è riscaldamento a pavimento per quei giorni più freddi, un grande bagno con una cabina doccia con due deliziosi accappatoi da utilizzare durante il vostro soggiorno. Nel bagno troverete gli elementi essenziali di emergenza - nel caso in cui abbiate dimenticato qualcosa!

Abbiamo messo un paio di belle sedie da giardino in vimini fuori dalla porta, che si affacciano su alcune aiuole colorate e un orto funzionante. Il posto perfetto per la colazione in un giorno d'estate!

Viviamo nella casa principale e accogliamo sempre i visitatori se siamo in residenza. L'Orangerie è molto privato dalla casa principale, quindi se vuoi andare e venire senza chattare, va bene anche con noi!

Altre cose da notare:

La proprietà non è adatta per l'accesso disabili.
C'è un cane ben educato che vive nella casa principale che potresti incontrare ad un certo punto.
Abbiamo un grande giardino e il lavoro inizia intorno alle 8 del lunedì mattina per mantenerlo in ottima forma, quindi speriamo che questo non ti disturbi!

Wonderful stay in Pigsty Cottage. Steve and Lizzie were very welcoming and even stocked the fridge with a few essentials to get us through the next morning. Lovely and private, we had a car and were in a perfect location to access Stone Henge, Avebury, Bath, Oxford, Stratford on Avon and more. Steve even told us about the Kennet and Avon locks which were an engineering marvel. My husband even got to try his hand (and back) at opening the gates. Cottage was beautifully appointed and spacious - exactly as advertised.

This was our second trip to pigsty cottage and it was just as amazing as the first time. The gardens are immaculate. It is fun and relaxing to explore the grounds, smell the flowers, and watch the many forms of wildlife around the area. You can sit on a bench and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature. The cottage is extremely clean and well organized. The layout and design of the cottage makes it a perfect retreat. The bed is very comfortable as well. Pigsty cottage is a wonderful escape. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars. The hosts are so nice and are able to provide advice and tips to explore the surrounding area. The extra touch of some milk and butter and other items makes it very special. Thank you and we can’t wait to come back.

I chose this property because of its proximity to Longleat and for the wonderful reviews. I add my own 5 stars as it is exactly what has been described. Several points to consider before staying is if you want to sleep in, bring an eye mask (I always carry one). There are a lot of windows but no darkening shades. Use google maps as my first attempt was made using the map on my iPhone and I ended up in a work zone. When I used google maps (which the owner intended) I had no problem. Also note try to take light luggage as there is a portion of the walk from the car that was pebbles and I had a very heavy suitcase. I had a slightly better strategy when I left and pulled my car closer to the entry into the garden thus cutting down on some of my need to carry my bag. Great property, owners were very responsive.

Had a lovely week in a beautiful quiet location. Lizzie & Steve were very welcoming had helped us with our bags to the property. They very kindly left a welcome pack which was very kind of them. Was a beautiful property very clean felt like going from home to home. Would recommend anyone to stay as was lovely and so welcoming.

Pigsty cottage holds a very special place in our hearts. We received such a warm welcome and were blown away by the beauty of the gardens. The cottage was a wonderful retreat for some much-needed rest and relaxation. It is evident that so much thought has gone into the cottage so that guests enjoy their stay. The little touches of having milk, yogurt, and croissants were so helpful. The cottage was extremely clean and well cared for. We had such a wonderful time exploring the surrounding areas and every time we returned to the cottage we were in awe of the new blooms and tiny little growth that occurred during the day. The cottage is in a great location and is close to other local attractions such as Stonehenge, Bath, Avebury, and the West Kennett Long Barrow. The hosts were so helpful in directing us to the local grocery store, pubs, and nearby attractions. We enjoyed sitting in the gardens and listening to the birds singing and bees buzzing. We could just let the world drift away as we sat with nature in its own rhythm. Thank you so much for a memorable stay. We fell in love with Pigsty cottage, and we will definitely be back.

I was lucky enough to stay here for over a couple of weeks due to working locally. Pigsty cottage was a haven of peace to return to. Steve & Lizzie were so welcoming and helpful with any query. They provided all the lovely details of a breakfast and milk in the fridge .. The cottage is beautifully decorated and all comforts provided .. with gorgeous towels and bedding. I will treasure my time spent in Pigsty Cottage .. Thank you xx

We had a wonderful time from the time we arrived until it was time to go. But sad to go although would really love to come back. Would definitely recommend this place to stay. Stephen and Liz were very welcoming and helpful when ever we asked about something. The gardens are beautiful and you would have a great time what ever the weather. Lots of places of interest around too! Wonderful!

Very beautiful cottage and property. Spacious living area. Large, well-equipped kitchen. Bedroom was cozy and warm. Excellent communication with host, who was very flexible in meeting us even though we arrived later in the evening than expected. Could not have asked for a better experience. We hope to return!

We were delighted with the property which was first class .Everything we needed was supplied and the owners were pleasant and welcoming .the garden is amazing and it was lovely to sit out in the sunshine and enjoy the view.we would certainly like to book the property again

Got to say this was a brilliant cottage in a great location and hosts were fantastic. On arrival Steve met us and showed us around the property, even showing my husband around the paddock where he would be able to go for a morning run. Steve and Lizzie had also left us loads of goodies which was a real nice surprise. Would defo recommend this cottage to stay, is convenient to visit Bath, Bristol and other locations nearby. Particularly loved Castle Combe and Caen Hill Locks which was recommended by Steve. The Barge Inn is also worth a visit for drinks and meal and is not far from the cottage. Thanks Steve and Lizzie for such a wonderful stay and allowing Chris to use your hose so many times to wash our car 😂
