“The property was very clean. Room was spacious and bed was comfortable. Room is equipped with a microwave, a mini fridge, a kettle, a toaster, and all the basic kitchen utensils and cutlery you may need for your short stay. The only downside is that there is no place to eat near the Chalet or in town unless you drive to nearest town Pictou which is 15 minutes drive away.”

“The owners, Sandy and Cathy made our stay from the moment we entered their Inn a memorable experience. They gave us a tour of their incredibly beautiful Inn and then lead us to the breathtaking outdoor space to relax before we went to our room. They even suggested a restaurant for dinner and made the reservation for us. Parking is available at no charge in the back of their Inn.”

“Beautiful old building with grand staircase and gorgeous woodwork. Room was large and comfortable with lively decor. So convenient to walk to all the town. The host was amazing in responding to questions and needs. Can’t say enough to describe how beautiful and enjoyable a stay we had”

“It’s a shame that this inn lacks investment and renovation. The owner works hard and tries her best but the establishment is in need of modernization. Musty smell from the old carpets, old bathrooms and badly locking doors. I felt that I didn’t get value for money compared to the other inns and bed & breakfasts we stayed in during our time in Nova Scotia. This was probably the most expensive but the least value. Either the price needs to change or the inn needs to modernize. This is of course my...
