I arrived and the parking lot was pock marked with deep chunks missing; it felt like I was driving on rocks!
I parked where the front door should be, and the doors were steel chained shut. I called the front desk and the man instructed me to come into the lobby from the side door; the front doors don’t work.
I did and found a man at the front desk arguing to get his ID returned from the clerk sitting behind security glass with a small pass thru teller type opening.
When I got to clerk, he told me he was off duty in about 30-minutes, could I come back when the new clerk arrived.
During my wait in the lobby, a woman in excessively tight clothing approached the clerk and ask to buy another hour and a half for a room. The same man who asked me to wait for the next clerk obliged the woman, took her money, and handed her a key.
I went back to the car and informed my son I think this is a hotel used for activities that may be unsafe for us to be around.
He asked to stay somewhere else, and I found a 2-bed room available in The Guesthouse at Graceland for two nights, and another 2-bed room available in The Peabody for the other three nights.
I went back to ask clerk for a refund and he was unable to refund my money because I booked they a third party.
I went back to my rental car and booked the other two hotels; driving directly to The Guesthouse at Graceland for two nights.
I would like a full refund; Expedia should be ashamed to have this hotel on your site!!!!!!!
