Cozy cottage in perfect location. This was our second stay here- the cottage had everything we needed and we had access to a beautiful garden. Mike and Kathleen were gracious hosts with lots of great dining and activity suggestions. Shops, restaurants and beautiful nature were all within walking distance. We will definitely be back!

Our stay was perfect! We fell in love with Mendocino and all it has to offer. The location is in walking distance of the beach, restaurants, shops, the grocery store, basically everything. The beach and headlands are beautiful and Fort Bragg is a short drive away where we rode the Skunk Train. The hosts are great and gave us lots of information about local events and restaurants, a very nice couple The cottage itself was exactly as described, clean, cozy and lovely. We will be coming back next year.

A Great Place to Relax and Rejuvenate

This is a lovely cottage in the heart of the Village of Mendocino. It is within walking distance of all of the community as well as the paths along the headlands. The cottage itself is warm, inviting, and cozy with a generous porch where one can sit and take in the garden or watch the sun go down. The hosts are delightful and engaging.

Happy to be back again

This was our second stay in this cottage. It’s cozy, and comfortable— perfect for two. Very comfortable bed and very comfortable armchairs for relaxing, listening to music, and reading our books. Kathleen and Mike are very welcoming and once again we really enjoyed our stay.

Home away from home

I love this home! It's the perfect size, close to everything, safe, and homey! Mike & Kathleen are the perfect hosts, giving you space, but there if you need them. It has all the amenities you could need. Go for a hike, grab a great meal, then snuggle in next to the stove with a good book. Thank you M & K for another great stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The garden was beautiful and so relaxing. The cottage was very clean and beautifully decorated. So close to the Headlands, shops and grocery store. The Host and Hostess were a delight to get to know and their knowledge of Mendocino - historically. We will definitely come back.

Mendocino Short Stay

Mendocino is a small charming seaside village located on a beautiful stretch of the Pacific Ocean, and this rental is ideally located in the center of town. Everything to see and do in Mendocino is a short walk away. The rental is a small detached cottage, which comfortably accommodates two people, with a small sitting area in the front room. The owners give over the yard to renters, which we took advantage of, as the weather was beautiful while we were there. The hosts are very nice, and provided good advice on places to eat and things to do. Mendocino is a one of a kind place, and this cottage fits in perfectly with that vibe.

Cozy Cottage in Perfect Location

This property is darling. The loving attention to detail and the care put into its cohesive blue and yellow (and chickens!) design throughout, gives it a homey touch. The owners were warm and welcoming, offering many suggestions of where to eat and where to go. The fresh flowers on the table and the beautiful garden, made me want to stay right there and not wander off. I'd definitely stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Beggs-Bishop cottage. Mike and Kathleen are friendly and attentive hosts. The cottage is as described and has a beautiful garden to enjoy. It’s nice to be able to walk to the Headlands and all through town from their place. Our long weekend getaway was perfect!

Mike is a fabulous host and everything about the cottage is as described. This was the perfect setting for our early 20's son to attend to enjoy the Mendocino Writer's Conference. Thank you so much.
