Questa casa vacanza a Mendocino con tre camere da letto offre un camino a legna, due ponti con vista sul mare, una cucina completamente attrezzata e tanto spazio per sette ospiti. La casa, soprannominato Chanticleer, è ritirata l'artista perfetto per una fuga rilassante per buoni amici!

Chanticleer si trova a 45 miglia da escursioni e picnic lungo 45 ettari di foresta di sequoie presso l'Admiral Standley State Park Recreation Area. Sarai a 41 miglia dalla degustazione di vini a Elke Vineyards ea 37 miglia da B. Ryan Animal Preserve. Il Russian Gulch State Park e il Point Cabrillo distano entrambi circa 1,6 km.

La splendida casa ha tre livelli, il livello superiore offre un bagno, due camere da letto con letti queen-size e uno spazio per dormire extra con un futon che può essere trasformato in un letto a due piazze. Il livello medio dispone di ampie finestre e un open-concetto di soggiorno con poltrone in pelle, TV satellitare, e le librerie DVD e VHS e giocatori. Appena fuori dal soggiorno c'è una seconda tana con un lettore di CD e cassette. Questa casa dispone anche di una lavatrice e asciugatrice privata per la vostra convenienza.

Cenare all'aperto grazie ad un avvolgente ponte appena fuori dalla sala. La sala da pranzo e la legna camino che ricorda il 1970 è adiacente al soggiorno. Un tavolo da pranzo per sei e cucina completamente attrezzata farà pasto preparazione un gioco da ragazzi!

La casa di 2.100 piedi quadrati è su 1 acro e ha spazio per sette ospiti. La tuta master è al piano di sotto e dispone di un letto matrimoniale, bagno privato e salotto con una scrivania, TV e divano e una terrazza privata romantica. WiFi fa per un confortevole soggiorno prolungato, e non dimenticate di mettere in valigia il vostro cane! C'è un piccolo costo per l'animale di notte se si desidera portare il vostro cane.

All'esterno, godere di giardini ben curati e una visione-ponte che si affaccia radure di legno. Guidare cinque minuti a Mendocino per musei, ottimi frutti di mare, e le escursioni attraverso Hendy Woods State Park. Sia che trascorriate le vostre giornate raggomitolati accanto al fuoco, sia che camminiate a piedi nudi lungo la spiaggia, questa casa vacanze a Mendocino con tre camere da letto è la soluzione ideale per una vacanza sul mare!

Bliss on the beach

Beautiful views!! The house was Mendo eclectic which is why I picked this property. Aged home yes but cute in the details. Plenty of room for everyone to sleep, however we did need more seating in the living room with the kitchen chairs. The beds were just adequate, but i do like a softer bed. The dishwasher never worked wich kinda sucked honestly because even the dishes in the cabinets were dirty & i hate washing dishes. Overall it was a great visit seeing my family that lives on the coast & I would definitely recommend this rental even with the slight inconveniences.

Visiting your Grandparents Coastal Cabin

The view, deck, indoor fireplace, time-capsule wall decor & the neighborhood are all 5-Stars. This house back in its prime must have been dynamite! A MCM frame that feels like you are inside of a senior living home with no visitors for over a decade or 3. A musty smell that the ocean air removed with open windows and doors. Not a speck of dust to be found, very clean though.Major needs: Comfortable seating, how does one have a vacation home without comfortable places to relax? Mattresses too, old box springs that made my body toss and turn for three nights straight. I’m typing this while chugging enough coffee to get me through the drive home, the early 10am checkout it really to bad too. I have redesigned this rental one hundred times in my mind while staying here. What these walls could say from its’ early years! I love it for all of its needs but be aware this is not your place to relax, glad I brought my own office chair to use at the dining table for work. Kitchen: tiny & efficient. Needs a few wooden spoons and proper stemware. Also, the smoke detector it placed so close to the oven and stove that it went off even while toasting bread & should be moved. I would happily volunteer to live here and be this sweet old home’s caretaker, it deserves one. I hope this place can be restored and lived in properly one day, it is special.

Holiday get-away with family

We spent a lovely Thanksgiving holiday (a little early) at this property and mainly booked it for the windows and view. The property is more like an updated cabin than the photos show, but the home was spacious and comfortable for our group of seven. The upstairs has very little insulation so sound carries very, very easily (be forewarned if you have a person who snores in your group). We cooked a full Thanksgiving meal complete with desserts in the kitchen with relative ease. The huge windows were perfect for reading and relaxing during the rainy weather. One person in our group was able to work remotely during our trip and the wifi was more than adequate to support their video conference needs. The location was great, in a quiet neighborhood close to both Mendocino and Ft. Bragg.

Great location for Mendocino county trip

This lovely ocean view property was very close to both Fort Bragg ca and the town of Mendocino. The listing talks about steep stairs to all bedrooms- if you are mobility challenged may not be for you. We left our suitcases down stairs and only used upstairs for sleeping. The whole place gives off a cabin vibe which I loved. If you are looking for something fancy not for you. The art work through out is amazing and was fun to look at—overall good value for the price

It is worth it

Mendocino Holiday

Overall, cabin was nice. Negatives: couches were small, enough for 2 people sitting upright with legs straight in front. Most furnishings looked like they came from a garage sale. Kitchen table at bench on one side necessitated by small space, but uncomfortible for older adults getting in and out. 3 levels. 2 bedrooms very small. Walls were more like thin partitions to create bedrooms. Made it easy to communicate easily with anyone anywhere in the house from any room. TV small and viewable only from 4 seats. Small counter top space. No garbage disposal. Bedroom (tube) TV had built in VCR player. Some people may need to look up what is a VCR player. No smart TV, but had HDMI connection for laptop. Positives: Clean. Excellent location- quiet neighborhood, nice view of ocean from living room and one bedroom. 2 miles from a nice beach. Dog friendly but no yard to play fetch. We probably won't return there, but I can see that it may be good fit for many. Also internet streamed well.

The Best Time!

We loved it here! Great location and the house was perfect for the six of us who stayed there. Lots of space, great fireplace, great view of the ocean. An older place, but so full of character. We had a great time!

Great location

House was as described in all the other reviews. The only other thing i would suggest is to bring your own hair dryer as there were none in the bathrooms. Any questions or comments were returned in a short time.

Beautiful location

This house was not quite as updated as the pictures show, but that didn’t stop us from enjoying every minute. We all slept very well and had plenty of pillows and blankets. It got warm during the day and cool at night, but opening windows and then using the portable heaters at night made it perfect. We had everything we needed except for a washer , which was broken at the time. I understand a new one is ordered. Thanks for a great stay!!

We booked this property so we could do laundry midway through our travels. Arrived to find washing machine broken and according to property management it had been broken for some time , ceiling fan - broken, dining room chair- broken leg. Couch-broken, end table broken. We ended up spending most of one of our "sightseeing " days and money in a laundromat watching the drier spin! Beautiful and peaceful setting but poorly managed and maintained. We did not come with unrealistic expectations we just expected basic things to work.

Beautiful, peaceful, house with ocean view

If you are looking for a tranquil, beautiful house with ocean views, this is your place. The house is close to parks, town but still in a quiet location with beautiful ocean views. My wife and me brought the whole family and the house was big enough for all of us. I cannot recommend this house enough. I can hardly wait for my next vacation in Mendocino!

Filthy cabin

When we entered the house it was unswept, cobwebs on the baseboards, the entire house smelt of fish, the dishes all had a greasy film and all the cabinets had crumbs in them. The oven mits were filthy with dried food still on them! The house itself was ok but there was an overall feeling of unwelcomeness.

animal hair on furniture and beds, up stair sink plugged with hair wouldn't drain until drain access pulled out, WIFI terrible and would only allow limited access, sofa in front room broken armrest, rubber brick tiles around firepit loose and came out of place, upstairs bedroom floorboard separated causing a tripping hazard chair in front of tv is not stable and wobbles, metal floor trim in front of tv separated and catches your foot as you walk by

reasonable value, beautiful views, but some things to attend to

The biggest frustration was how long it took for Vacasa to get back to us. 5 hours the first time, when we couldn't find how to heat the house and were cold, and 8 hours the second time when we were requesting a later checkout. Other deficiencies included: No wine glasses, no serving bowls Lighting upstairs poor Light at lower level bathroom sink poor lighting No extra blankets upstairs Otherwise the place was adequate. A little difficult to get exact directions, but eventually made it in. Place is a bit smaller than what photos would indicate. However, overall decent experience and good value for the money.

Great views and wonderful location.

We have stayed here before. This time none of our family members could join us, so we had the house to ourselves. The bottom floor is the newest and nicest. Negatives:The rest of the house is much older, but it has a Mendocino vibe. You can hear every sound on every floor, no matter which level you are on, so if you are staying with family or friends that are not on the same schedule, it is pretty uncomfortable. There are no window coverings downstairs. The kitchen is small and the furniture in the living room is not comfortable to hang out in. Parking in the driveway is difficult if you have a large truck. Positives: There are two large decks and great views from the upper deck. The neighborhood is beautiful and you can walk out to a cliff overlooking the ocean.

This was a great setting with a very nice view of the ocean. Quite easy to get to as well. One thing the owner may not be aware of is that the reserve tank for the water pump is broken so the pump was running almost constantly if one runs water such as flushing a toilet or taking a shower. It is a very quaint house with lots of room and comfortable beds. We had a great time.

Vacasa of California 06/14/2022 Re: Property ID 655394 (06/04/22-06/10/2022) Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The property was quiet and isolated, in a well-tended neighborhood. The interior was comfortable and I enjoyed the many pictures and curios throughout. However, by day two one toilet was plugged up. I found a plunger and fixed it on several occasions. A seat on the dinning table broke when I sat on it. Fortunately, I was not hurt but i noticed that several other chairs were questionable so we set them aside. The small sofas felt weak we limited them to our kids. In addition, the deck door was stuck and difficult to open and or close so accessibility was limited. My wife notified from a maintenance person from Vacasa. I was informed that we would be contacted by the handyman. Mike the handyman did not show up until the day before our departure. He validated our issues and was aware of these issues to be repaired. Rick

A Peaceful Retreat

I have an extremely difficult time doing nice things for myself. Finally decided to book this place at the urging of several friends, and it couldn’t have come at a better time. This place was everything my partner and I needed: beautiful, quiet, and out of reach from the outside world. I only wish we could have stayed longer. Neither of us had phone service and we never wanted to come back, it was perfect. Note: this house is funky. It’s funky in a great way, but just know that it’s not soundproof in the slightest. Any footsteps upstairs can be heard down on the main level, though I’m not sure about the lower level. It’s not far at all from Ft Bragg (and I’m sure Mendocino but we didn’t venture that direction), but know that these coastal towns often close early so plan ahead when it comes to food and beverage needs if you’re getting in a bit late. TLDR: Do yourself a kindness. Refresh your spirit. Book the place. Even if it’s not this one, just do it. I wish a review had told me that, so I’ll pay it forward. Waking up to a view of the ocean and clean air does something for the body that you just can’t get anywhere else.

January Birthday getaway

We had a great weekend stay at Chanticleer. While the pictures do make it look bigger the place was still Perfectly cozy for our family of 5, our doggo, and my sister and her husband. The indoor fireplace is amazing and kept us toasty as it was pretty cold once the sun went down. Speaking of the sun I hope you get clear days as the views are amazing and we had some of the best sunsets during our stay. Our only rant was the pullout bed/couch in the downstairs den. No way anyone could sleep on that.
