Located on Lake Winnisquam with 110' of lake frontage and 2 acres of land abutting a State forest, this beautiful custom home is the perfect setting for your next vacation. Close your eyes and picture your ideal lakefront retreat. Is your minds-eye seeing a home with an open kitchen/dining/living area, stone accent walls, exposed beams, wood floors and a wall of windows looking out to the lake? Now picture yourself pouring a cup of coffee first thing in the morning and enjoying some quiet reflection while sitting on the covered deck watching a family of ducks paddling the shoreline below. Once everyone else is awake, the chef of the group will love preparing the morning feast in the beautifully appointed open kitchen. After feuling up, your days will be filled with all Lake Winnisquam has to offer. Bring or rent a boat to get out on the lake (the dock will accommodate a boat up to 21' in length - owner's boat occupies the center of the u-shaped dock under the rooftop deck) or take a swim from the dock with ladder to cool off on a hot summers day. Watch the boats as they float through the “No Wake” zone. Just make sure you keep an eye and ear open for wildlife as you are likely to hear the Loon’s calling and the see Bald Eagles meandering about from the abutting preservation land. After a morning of fun, indulge in some burgers and dogs cooked to perfection on the Weber grill. After lunch, the unique deck built over the boat dock is the perfect spot for relaxing and reconnecting with your loved ones or catching up on some reading (novel or gossip magazine - we don't judge). As the sun sets on another fun-filled day, you'll enjoy relaxing on the screen porch with your evening beverage while planning your next days adventures. Don't forget to add graham crackers, marshmallows and chocolate bars to your grocery list for the requisite nightly s'mores while sitting around the campfire and reliving all the fun stories of the day. Remember - todays vacation adventure is next Holiday's funny dinner-table story. Back inside the house you can throw down a ping pong or dart challenge - smack talk not included. The lower level offers the family room with TV and comfy seating plus 2 sets of built-in bunk-beds tucked away in the corner and a kitchenette - you won't even have to run upstairs for drinks or to pop some corn to enjoy while watching a movie! The owners of this beautiful property just purchased it in November, 2022 and will be adding decor to the house over the spring and early summer. The driveway is shared with the house next door. Please do not block access for the other house. The woodstove in the house is off limits and not to be used.

LINENS: Please note: Sheets and towels are not included with this rental. If you would like to rent sheets and/or bath towel packages from At The Lake Vacation Rentals, the cost of sheets (including arrival bed making) for this home is $225. Towel packages are $12 per person and include 2 bath towels, 1 hand towel and 1 washcloth. Please let us know at time of booking if you would like to rent sheets and bath towels as availability is limited.
