“I was pleasantly surprised. Hotel was clean, staff was very nice- there is a lot in walking distance including a Denny's that's open till midnight and a movie theater and Applebee's across the street. 25 min drive to Cooperstown where we visited a winery and brewery. Location is great. ”

“The property & room were fine. It is not an upscale, chic establishment. Just basic, overnight lodging. ”

“We were very happy with our stay while visiting both Oneonta and Cooperstown Baseball Hall of Fame. The room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. ”

“Very unique experience in a wonderful locations but a few asterisks.There is no plumbing en suite, which we were aware of, but the bathhouse (clean) is a good 100 yards away. Not ideal for middle-of-the-night wakeups or if your ability to get around is compromised. It got very cold overnight and unfortunately the fireplace would not switch on. The batteries in the remote were probably the culprit, but this didn't help make us any warmer. The staff was very nice and helpful. ”
