Lodge a Merris

“Marie was a warm and generous host. The room was chic, clean and quiet. Breakfast was outstanding with many homemade treats, local meats and cheeses and excellent coffee. Don’t be put off by the small roads on the way to the hotel! It’s definitely worth the drive!”

“We had the suite with its own lovely terrace. The room and bathroom was large, clean and cozy. The staff was friendly and helpful. Poperinge is a small town, but well located in relation to the area's attractions.”

“We got to the hotel early (by train) and had scheduled a tour of the battlefields and museum. We had asked to leave our bags there, and they already had our room ready at 9:00 AM. Very nice.”

“Struttura bellissima, camera grande, comoda elegante e bella”

“OTTIMAMENTE SOPRATTUTTO PER LA POSIZIONE CENTRALISSIMA DELLA STRUTTURA”

“This hotel is in an amazing location. Our room was comfortable and clean. The staff were exceptional. We had had a very long day driving in from Caen in horrible weather and delayed due to an accident shutting down the highway. The gentleman at the desk was so kind and friendly. He was able to get us a dinner reservation when everything in town was booked solid. Just spectacular customer service. Also, if you're looking for a great dining experience, 'T Zweerd was excellent.”

“Booked the cheapest room in the hotel of 10m2 which must have been the worst room in the hotel. The window faced a corridor and not outside. The room and the elevator did not smell clean. The light from the elevator to the room did not turn on so my dog was too scared to walk and enter the dark bedroom from the lift. The receptionist did not speak English and the final straw was that there was no wifi ”

“Staff very helpful and able to help. Food amazing. Sitting outside to eat is so French. Breakfast was so well laid out and tasty. Easy to get to different levels in a wheelchair. The view from the room was breath taking. We have to book again.”
