“Bellissima esperienza. I ragazzi del camp sono stati eccezionali. Dopo la cena ci hanno offerto anche uno spettacolo musicale intorno ad un falò. È stato molto bello vedere la vita lattea ed il cielo stellato una volta spente tutte le luci esterne. La mattina si può anche ammirare l'alba nel deserto, tempo permettendo. Unica cosa da migliorare è di specificare sul sito che dovrai lasciare la macchina in un parcheggio e poi il personale al costo di 20€ a tratta ti porterà nel camp.”

“The staff are beyond friendly. We enjoyed our fireside riddles and laughed a lot with some of the staff. Our camel ride out to the camp with guide Mohammed was stellar. There was a stop for the sunset and some local berbere men shared their sand board with us so we could play on the dunes. The only thing I'd change about the entire experience is the dinner. “Wij hadden een prima verblijf in het Night Desert Camp. ’s Ochtends waren we in Midelt. Via What’s App hebben we doorgegeven dat wij rond 16 uur in Merzouga zouden zijn. Wij werden opgehaald bij Auberge Sahara. Daar konden wij onze auto parkeren. Chauffeur Mohamed stond al klaar met zijn 4WD. “Camels, and 4X4’s, luxury and serenity. The camp had it all. It was the perfect experience and one I truly hope to experience again. We spent 2 nights at the camp and I am so glad that we did, one just would not be enough. Although the food, surroundings, stargazing, camel rides, and four wheeling through the dunes are amazing, the best part of Horaz is the wonderful, warm staff. “Avoid at all costs – complete scam! This place is nothing but a tourist trap. After you pay, you suddenly find out that they charge €25 per person just to drive you 10 minutes to the camp. Once you arrive, they tell you that air conditioning is NOT included and demand another €30 per person if you want it. In the desert heat of 50°C, they would literally let you suffocate in a plastic PVC tent unless you pay extra. There is no free water – everything costs extra, even basic survival needs. The...

"Sebbene la pulizia non sia il suo forte, tornerei in questa struttura di sicuro! Per la prima volta non ho sofferto il freddo di notte. Stanza, molto ampia, tutta in effetto pisé, con un balconcino esterno. In effetti, non è che la stanza fosse sporca, ma anche lo spazio dove appoggiare le cose è in effetto pise e tende a trattenere la polvere e quindi appoggiandoci i vestiti possono rimanere un po' impolverati. L'acqua calda non era disponibile all'arrivo, ma al mattino dopo si e ci siamo fatti la doccia senza problemi. Wi-fi perfettamente funzionante. Staff gentilissimo. Siamo arrivati molto tardi, ma ci hanno accolto con un sorriso e la possibilità di cenare. Location estremamente suggestiva: affacciato direttamente sull'inizio del Sahara. Raccomandatissimo!"
