“When I pulled up and saw the signs ( not that I’m political) on the property I started to cancel, but when I went in the lady (Pat) was very pleasant and friendly. I end up staying and I must say that my stay was wonderful and very relaxing. I loved that the cabin was very clean and equipped with everything I needed. I’m planning on going back real soon.”

“Easy to find and check in. Had everything we needed to have a cozy Spring weekend. Just the right amount of space. No traffic on the short road and easy access to the river, Hodenpyl Dam, and lots of National Forest trails. Short jump to Mesick for groceries and gas was very convenient. “This little community of cabins are nicely spaced. Giving it a vacation oasis. Probably a group of 10. Some are still in the process of being updated. The finishes are so wonderfully modern. The bed is simple but oh so comfy. Slept like a baby. Woke refreshed. You can stay and chill or wonder out and come back to relax. The only thing missing was a larger frying pan and some hooks or coat rack at the front door for fall and winter. Definently enjoyed my stay”

“Stunning brand new BEAUTIFUL home. Very well thought out floor plan! It’s big and modern but somehow you still feel like home. 3 Master Bedrooms with huge beautiful en-suite baths with huge open walk in showers with lights! Marble counters! Comfy beds and bedding. The Great room with its soaring ceilings and the very cool “up lights” in ceiling are again showing that the owner really pays attention to details. The kitchen is beautiful with a huge granite island. AND the stove is a 6 burner! All...

“This home is very inviting and unique. My husband and I, another couple, and two dogs stayed for our anniversary. It was comfortable and had everything we needed to have a relaxing stay. We would defiantly stay hear again as it is perfectly located not to far from Traverse City, the Sleeping Bear Dunes, and the Leelanau peninsula.”

“A few of us friends just needed a couple days to hang out and do some snowboarding at Crystal Mountain, which is right down the road. We have stayed here several times in the past it’s always been clean and quaint. The addition of the hot tubs is a plus and it makes it more luxurious. We will be back!”

“Great location close to gas station, jerky store and fishing spots. Nice quiet neighborhood. Lot of nearby options for things to do. Enjoyed a 2 night fishing trip. Very nice cabin. Love the back porch/fire pit setup. We ended up grilling dinner every night. We were even able to watch the Michigan game at the cabin. The crystal clear night sky made for an amazing view of the stars that you can't see in the city. Awesome place, we definitely plan on coming back. Thank you!”

“Older cabins, small but comfortable with everything we needed. All was in working condition. It had air conditioning which we actually needed for the few days of 90+. The owner was fantastic to deal with, all camp rules clearly defined and nothing crazy. We have already made plans to come back. Highly recommend.”

“This is the second time that my brother, sister in law, my wife and I have stayed at this cabin! We love that we have our own bedrooms and bathrooms! The house is cozy and just a great place to relax and enjoy each others company! We enjoy fishing and kayaking the Betsie River. We will be back in the future to our home away from home.”

“We had a short weekend getaway here and it was top notch. The hosts have thought of every detail to make the stay amazing. We stayed with our daughter (8) who is in a wheelchair and was pleased with the accessibility of the cabin. Our 4 year old loved the great selections of DVDs and games and toys. “Comfy, quaint cottage, better than a hotel room! Was clean and just as pictured. Worked out great for ski weekend for me and my teen. Can see Crystal Mtn from property. 35 mins from Caberfae Peaks. Microwave, refrigerator and Keurig offered meal flexibility. Coffee, sugar, creamers, and disposable cups supplied. The owner, Jacob, was communicative and responsive. Some things to consider: cabin backs to M-115 so can hear road noise. Traffic at night was very minimal. Sleeping loft does not have...

“We stayed in cabin 1 and it was perfect! The owners were so nice. Only a half hour from Traverse City. The cabin was cute and rustic. It had a fully equipped kitchen and charcoal grills outside. Perfect views of the lake and each cabin had their own firepit. We will be going back!”
