A Great Retreat for Family Time
My husband, my 14 year old daughter and our 1 year old Havanese (first time traveler) had a very relaxing and fun time! We had lazy mornings, walked to the beach (like 10 times), the zoo, watched the sun set and did a 300 piece puzzle! We read books, listened to music, visited Dune Billies (ate delish food and bought T-shirts!). We shared friendly banter with locals and other visitors, too. Awesome memories that we will cherish!! The cottage had everything we needed and was just perfect in every way! We hope to visit again soon 💕.

March stay
Overall everything was great. Had a little hiccup at check in with the code provided not working, but we were able to contact the host and fixed asap. Cozy little spot to respite for a few days.

Pet friendly in Michigan City
Found this place for its pet friendly status and close to Indiana Dunes. For those reasons, it was great. However, when checking in, we found the unit to be not what we expected. The bathroom was bad. Fortunately the host quickly moved us to the other unit. This unit was better, but in all honesty both units need some serious upgrades, especially the bathrooms.

Great Location and Value
As a family of 6, the house served its purpose. It was clean and welcoming. The walking distance to the beach was great and easy to manage with the supplied wagon to help haul gear. Great value and location.

Well located beach house
We stayed at the house for the second year in a row and had a wonderful time exploring the beach, zoo and going blueberry picking. The home is located very close to the beach and has a wagon to help move the chairs and sand toys for the easy two block walk. It is close to the zoo and downtown restaurants as well as Washington Park. The house is the perfect size for my spouse, myself and our two young kids. The house has tons of amenities and was a great place to relax between adventures. We will be back!

Beach 2023
There were not enough wash cloths for 4 people,1 kitchen towel,no paper towels. The grill had food dripping on the front & the grates had food stuck on them. The patio area was filthy not inviting at all. We contacted the people in charge & they said they would contact their cleaners & they showed up 2 days later while it was raining & she wiped the front of the grill off 7 then entered the cottage across from us.

Great place to stay near the beach
Our family had a great time staying here! The walk to the beach was very reasonable. We were able to carry everything we wanted and get there in a few minutes. The house had everything we needed for a great stay, plus a few extras. Having one bathroom could be tricky for some but worked for us. The information from the listing and from the hosts was accurate and timely. Totally recommend!

Great, Comfortable House!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The house is very close to the beach and the pad on the sand was very helpful for pulling a wagon and children! The house was very comfortable, clean and the owners were so generous with having it well stocked with everything needed! We all got great sleep there on the very comfortable beds! We enjoyed the beach, zoo, Bridges restaurant and Bubbles for icecream were our favorites! Thank you for sharing your cute, comfortable home with us!

Small Little Cottage
We enjoyed our stay so much! This cottage is so close to the beach and restaurants. We enjoyed the patio area and fire pit in the evening. The host was so accessible and answered questions quickly! Would definitely stay again!

Weekend getaway
Rental process was simple and painless. Cottage was perfect for my husband and I and our 2 small dogs. We didn't even use the upstairs 2 beds. We could have had 2-4 more people with us in this rental. It was clean and equipped with everything that we needed. 5☆ We would stay here again. We explored Michigan City, New Buffalo, and Three Oaks. Beautiful anniversary weekend shopping, eating, and exploring breweries and distilleries!

Quaint Cottage
Great location! Had everything we could ask for. Only complaint was the back patio was a mess. Needed cleaning up. Front garden was a mess as well, which was a shame because the one next door was beautiful! Also we wanted to hose off our feet and our dog’s as well but the front garden hose did not work. The unit was clean, bed comfy and was just the right amount of space for my husband and I and our dog! I would visit again!

Just perfect!
My family was just looking to relax and get away from the busy city life for a few days, and this was a perfect! We played jenga, did face masks, ate pizza, ice cream sundaes, walked to the beach, played in the water, grilled some burgers and binge watched our favorite shows. It was a great time! The upstairs loft with skylight windows were an unexpected treat!! We are looking to book this property again soon :)

Easy getaway
Our family of six had a great getaway for a few days in order to have a beach vacation without traveling too far. The property had beach toys, a wagon, and even a pack and play for our infant! The walk to the beach was easy for our entire family. Would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful Stay
Our family if 4 and family dog stayed the week and had a great time. The upstairs loft was perfect for the kids, the cottage is very well stocked with everything we needed, more than other places we stayed in the area. It is a couple blocks from the beach and we loved the wagon and beach chairs. We loved our stay!

Nice little rental in a good location. The 1 bathroom in the rental was not the cleanest, especially the shower. The upstairs loft area had 2 lamps for lighting and 1 of them did not work. The master bedroom bed did not have proper sheets on it. Overall, we enjoyed our short stay.

Wonderful beach cottage in a great location
The cottage was located a few blocks from the beach, a mile from the zoo and a few miles from several blueberry picking farms. It had everything we needed for a great vacation including sand toys, a kitchen full of supplies for cooking and games for downtime. The house was clean, looked exactly like the pictures and is a great price for the location and amenities!

Perfect for short getaway
My husband and I had our first over night with our 6 month old daughter and it was great! The only bathroom is through the downstairs bedroom so if you are traveling with anyone else, that may be inconvenient. Also, there is a grill, but it’s not in the best shape so don’t have your heart set on that like my husband did - but we made it work!! Overall would stay here again!

Quick weekend getaway
We booked 2 nights over Memorial Day weekend. The beach was .3 miles from the property and less busy than others. The property owners thought of everything for the cottage. It’s stocked with great cookware, Keurig and k-cups, crockpot, blender, and more. The bath towels were amazing too. Only issue was that it is street parking and because it was a busy weekend we lost our parking spot and had to drive around for about 15 minutes until we were able to get one. Great experience overall.

Good time…. But…
House is great! Picture are accurate- accept the fact that the only bathroom is in the main floor bedroom- kinda awkward when staying with another couple- House is close to casino, outlet and beach! I can only imagine parking would be a hassle during peak lake season- as only 1 parking spot for house- but off season we had no issues with 2 cars- property would be even better if there was a small fire pit on the patio-

Reasonably Priced
This was a novel concept for my Company to lodge my Employees. It was definitely a much better experience than the hotels stay we typically patronize while in the area, & the pricing was comparable. This may our choice in lodging when we visit the area & we are considering returning within the next 30-days or so
