“I booked a trip six weeks in advance to go to Michigan- I was aware of the no refund policy. However over a month before the trip, I tried to cancel due to an illness/ hospitalization in my extended family. I tried cancelling and getting a refund, and the hotel wouldn’t refund with over a months advance notice. Even with the Expedia insurance, I would have had to provide medical records to prove a medical emergency, which wasn’t going to happen. DO NOT RESERVE FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT. You...

“Staff is amazing!!”

“Her iron was broken and our microwave was also broken and wouldn’t throw out any heat. My mom also had a broken iron and her room was filthy so she had to be moved to a clean room. There was even blood on the pillowcase.”

“Bar was conveniently located. Staff was friendly.”

“We had to leave and stay at a different hotel due to the unsanitary conditions at Whitehall Cottages. The bed had dirt and hair on the sheets and all around the mattress. There’s no staff on the property and the owner didn’t respond back until later in the evening after we were already checked in to a different hotel. When I asked for a refund I was told he couldn’t do it because we booked through Expedia…”

“Very dirty motel !!! Alot of local druggies stay at this place not recommended for families.. Smells very bad and not properly sanitized.. very disappointing 😞”

“Breakfast and bed were good. Building in old. Restoration is poor. New furniture and sinks but poor painting and trim work. Corners were dirty and baseboards were poorly cared for.”
