“We were at wedding about 10 minutes away at carden park and booked this place as it was a lot less expensive.
The meadow room was spacious and cosy, the bed was very comfortable

“I recently stayed at The Lion for two nights with my husband and toddler. We booked The Bakery Suite (Quadruple on Hotels.com) which had a seperate living area which was ideal for us. Check in was swift and we found all the staff throughout our stay to be friendly and accommodating.

“Unfortunately only stayed for one night but staff was friendly, room was nice and clean, bed was comfortable and the whole setting and being in a castle is just a great setting for special occasions. ”

“Great hotel. Had a nice upgrade. The room had a comfy bed and was very clean. There was an ac unit in the bedroom which helped cool the room down. The only thing was the shower pressure was very low and cut out a couple of times. ”
