“Unfortunately Origin contacted us the day before our arrival and stated they relocated us to another hotel - no reason was given. Origin was booked because it was across the street from the wedding venue we were attending; however, once relocated, we were six blocks away. On the day of the wedding, by the time we found parking and walked, the wedding had already started. On a good note, the hotel they placed us in had free breakfast, parking on the premises was better, and the hotel was generous...

“The Cook Hotel is a hidden gem located right on LSU’s campus. The rooms are well appointed, the breakfast is great, and the gift shop is another bonus! I have stayed here 3 times in the last 8 months and since my son will be a freshman in the Fall, I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else!”
