“Lovely stay, staff are so welcoming and can not do enough for you. It has a very 'horsey' theme throughout which is cute. We had a meal on the first evening and the homemade pie was gorgeous. Breakfast was average, and nothing much for vegetarians. Lovely location. We would definitely stay again. ”

“3 adults staying for a short break. Comfy beds, everything we needed (dishwasher would have been great but no idea where it could have fitted in). It’s a compact cottage but we didn’t feel we were getting in easy other’s way. The location was so good as we looked out over the castle and it was only a short walk to several good pubs -we had an excellent Sunday lunch at The Tack Room and staff were so friendly -plus great beer-in the Richard 111 pub.
